Detailed Reviews
Rathescar Grove is a magnificent house, we stopped through after sight seeing in Northern Ireland. Unfortunately our stay wasn't the best. The carpet in our room was dirty and the rooms were freezing cold. Additionally, the wifi was lacking in our rooms and the only breakfast available was cold cereal and toast. Traditionally a bed and breakfast would serve a full warm breakfast. I wouldn't really recommend unless you are very desperate for a place to stop off.

Absolutely fantastic. From the minute my daughter and three children arrived at Rathscar Grove we felt like royalty. Paula our wonderful host provided us with a most beautiful large family room. I recommend this amazing place as a haven of tranquility.

A perfect last night in Ireland at Paula's house. The room and bathroom were very clean and charming. We had a quiet night cause the B&B is in the countryside (nice view from our balcony when we woke up by the way!).
The B&B is well furnished and you have a breakfast in self-service! So handy!
To finish with, Paula was lovely and so welcoming to us! Thanks again for this great moment.
We will come back!

Checked in and was met with great service. Taken to the room and was amazed with the decor and size(actually bigger than my whole house). After we settled in we asked the owner about the surrounding areas for entertainment and restaurants, which turned out to be great choices as myself and family had an amazing time. She also arranged taxis to and from the bed and breakfast as we were unsure of our surroundings. Self service breakfast suited well for the family. Clean, tidy and warm. I highly recommend this amazing place either for family's or couples. Can't wait to come back.

Myself, my husband and 2 children visited this beautiful home in October. We stayed in the room with the ensuite bathroom for 3 or 4 days. It was very comfortable with a big TV and dvd player. The owner was so lovely! She fed my children pasta, left us in cupcakes and in general couldn't do enough to help us. It was a perfect base for us on our day trips out and about! Great value for money.

We came her on a whim as we were passing through. Lovely location but there is a lot of building work going on. Cash in hand got us 10 off but we got no sleep due to faulty smoke alarms beeping 24/7. Breakfast is self service and is decent enough. Bed comfortable location amazing but no sleep due to beeping all night. If things were sorted we may come back.

I was fascinated by the appearance of the building. Looks pretty modern & new outside, but if so then inside is not well finished. The beds were comfortable but we didn't like the shared bathroom, whilst being spotlessly clean when we arrived, by the time we used it, it was filthy, some people obviously don't know how to leave it as they found it. Breakfast is supplied but is all self service which should be mentioned in advance.
