Comfortable home in large garden, ample parking, guest lounge and dining room, good breakfast, very warm welcome, friendly and helpful, tea tray on arrival, well located for visiting Limerick or surrounding countryside.

We stayed at Avondoyle for 2 nights during our tour of West Ireland. Evelyn was an excellent hostess who works extremely hard to ensure all her guests are happy & catered for. Located approx. 15mins drive to the west of Limerick in a quiet rural location near Dooradoyle . There is ample onsite parking available. Our ensuite room was a... More

Evelyn's home is wonderful and peaceful. Great rooms, big and clean. The best breakfast we had on our trip, the scones are fantastic. Eveyln is a wonderful hostess and I would stay here again. Would stay here again, the drive to Limerick was really close.

We spent 2 nights in September at this B&B. The house and rooms are well kept, definitely shows pride of ownership. The beds were very comfortable and we had an excellent nights sleep. Cannot really comment on the noise mentioned in previous reviews as there was only one other couple staying at the B&B and we never new they were... More

A one night stop off with my two girls. Greeted on arrival with tea and apple crumble on the lawn - thank you very much. We had triple room on ground floor with bathroom across active corridor which I didn't expect. Probably a noisier room than others but kids slept through. Breakfast lovely, fresh baked scones and bread, hearty full... More

Evelyn was a friendly host. Her home was neat and organized. Morning breakfast was fair. Room was slightly noisy. Limerick is an unattractive city. Dirty, noisy, and not much too do. This home isn't near any major city. Good for families and relaxing.

We stayed at B&B's all over Ireland during our trip and this was our favorite. The location is extremely convenient to get into town or to take day trips, but it's out far enough that you get to enjoy the beauty and quiet of the Irish landscape. Evelyn is a very considerate host, our room was fantastic and with a... More

We were here for one night having two rooms. We were met by Evelyn who could not have been more welcoming. The rooms were very spacious and spotless. , and we were treated to drinks and home made cakes on arrival. A great touch! 🇮🇪 our plan was to visit Limerick Greyhound Track that evening and Evelyn even drove us... More

Nice location and very welcoming host. Before you know it, you're listening to her complete life story. The house is nicely decorated, but very noisy. Doors, locks, floors, they all make hard noises. Our room (main floor, on the front side of the house) has bathroom across the hall. Distance to Limerick City centre is more than one hour walking.

I visited Limerick over a weekend in February with my wife and Child. Evelyn was really a courteous host and took care of us really well. The country home has nice spacious rooms and is very well maintained. It is about 10 minutes drive to Limerick city center.
