The rooms are clean and large. Internet and television not what Americans are accustomed to having. Morning breakfast has fresh bread, fresh muffins, fresh fruit, and you can get a full Irish breakfast (included). That includes eggs, blood sausage, bacon more like ham, another sausage like a small hotdog, and toast or scones with jelly.
I booked to stay at Abbeyville House bed and breakfast in Limerick through Hostelbookers website. I paid my deposit and received confirmation emails from Hostelbookers two months ahead of my holiday. A few days before my trip I emailed the owners of Abbeyville House to ask for directions and they denied any knowledge of my booking and blamed Hostelbookers for the mix up. I contacted Hostelbookers who said the fault definitely lay with Abbeyville House. The emails I had from the owners of Abbeyville House were unhelpful to say the least, there was no apology from them and they ignored my enquiry about booking alternative accommodation. Completely unreliable. There was no cead mille faile at this place. I would definitely not recommend this place.
