Clean but spacious, basic room. The bathroom was ok, although starting to look a little shabby. The big plus was the air conditioning was very effective and quiet. Very comfortable beds and nice sheets and pillows. This all led to good quality sleep. The staff were all very helpful and the food options were good. Breakfast had a good choice from a hot and cold buffet. Location is on a bus route so that the city centre can be accessed easily. There is plenty of parking.
Whilst the room itself was huge, with sofa, dining table, desk, fridge etc the soundproofing is awful, I could hear conversations from another room at 3am. The cleanliness could have been better - hairs in the bathroom & pillow that smelt of perfume/cologne. Won't be returning
Large comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. Lunch in Off The Bone restaurant is really good. Friendly and helpful staff and lots of free parking. It’s a bit out of town but no issue getting taxis. Very handy for rugby as there is a shuttle bus from the hotel to Thomond
We recently had 2 family parties at the south court hotel. Everything was absolutely excellent. The food is top class and the service is excellent. Some family members stayed in the hotel and were impressed with the rooms and the beautiful breakfast. I have to mention Naomi and Andrea who were amazing to deal with when organizing both events. Nothing was too much trouble and everything went smoothly on the day. We will definitely be returning for future family get togethers.
Omg can’t say enough about this hotel. Rooms staff food breakfast and service absolutely brilliant. Have to give special mention to Dermot and Andrea who looked after us during our stay totally brilliant.
Poor cold tough roast beef and slow service. Unfit seating, difficult to get in or out of the alcove we were seated at. Us older girls should have been seated at a more convenient table when there were lots available.
Was there for two nights I enjoyed it like hotels I know the TV wasn't turning on but they fix It I kind of woken myself up from snoring most of the night on one of the nights since I was so comfortable in the bed but I enjoyed it I also had a nice bath and shower when I first arrived at the hotel very relaxing
On a business trip and staying 2 nights lots of mix ups took no notice of booking requests and OK reception did sort it but its hassle when it should have been avoided TV didnt work day 1 room keys didnt open door on day 2 so thank goodness for house keeper staff on hand when needed remarkably good at their job anyhow and courteous and helpful when needed Overall disappointed we have been staying here on and off for 10/12 years and it does seem standards have slipped a little Room when we got it very clean and comfortable
We were in Limerick for a basketball tournament and had an overnight stay in the hotel. Room was spotless and we ate in the Off The Bone restaurant in the hotel. The food was excellent and we were looked after so well by Kate. Would certainly recommend if you are visiting Limerick.
Booked this hotel as I was working and my wife wanted to be within walking distance to the Crescent shopping centre. We did B&B and despite booking directedly I think we got one of the more outdated rooms and not the nice modern ones shown on the website. Still, the room was large with two small double beds but soo hot. Radiator had to go off and window open. Reception and staff were very plesent and helpful. Breakfast is buffet style but you don't help yourself, a staff member plates up for you. Food tastes like it has been cooked for hours so I tend to give it a miss. We had dinner in the on-site Indian restaurant and it was amazing. Best Indian food in a long time.
