Detailed Reviews
We booked 3 rooms, all were very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The location was absolutely brilliant - very near the train & bus station and the centre of Limerick. We were able to walk to all of the Limerick tourist attractions. The WiFi worked in the rooms without any issue and there were lots of sockets in the rooms for charging equipment. The staff were all very friendly, some staff on reception were more efficient than others. The TV confused me as the English channels didn't work leading me to thnk initially that the TV wasn't working (No signal) - with some trial and error I realised that there was Sky News, Virgin Media channels,RTE channels etc.
One of the rooms (308) overlooked a street and so there was some late night noise from a nearby pub but not enough to disturb sleep. There was no noise disturbance inside the hotel even though it was quite full. As described on other reviews the rooms were not pristine with regard to paintwork, etc. However, for the price we paid for the stay it was excellent value and we had a fabulous, family holiday.

My partner and I booked with hotel for a couple of nights in March. We decided to read the terrible reviews after we booked the place and had paid for it (because sometimes we aren't smart). We were laughing at some of the reviews because they sounded so ridiculous. And it would have been so much better to go into the hotel not knowing how terrible it might be.
But honestly, it was fine . Completely fine. We had a double room, and the bathroom was super clean, dated but clean. It had an old tv which kept us entertained and the bed was super comfy. On top of this the rooms were breezy and not stuff or damp.
There were large brown and black stains all over the carpet which I can assume would have been from spilt coffee and tea in the past. It was clean. Just stained.
It was safe and quiet and all in all I didn't have a problem with it, and I'm quite picky and high maintenance.
The staff were brilliant and always smiling. And although the cleaning staff were slightly strange (some of them were only wearing one sock and others insisted on singing everywhere they went) they had character and always greeted us with a smile.
Location is amazing. So that's a huge plus also.
All in all the hotel isn't great. But it's okay, and that's what the price suggests. We had a lot of fun and didn't worry the small things.
If you are on a tight budget or only in Limerick for a few nights. Stay at Pery's. You'll have a few stories in the end. :)

Friendly, helpful and responsive staff! Clean, well-stocked room, serviced daily. Large bath sheets, hair dryer, hot plate/pot with coffee/tea packets, and even a couple biscuits in the room! Loved the continental breakfast included in the cost of our room, and the restaurant/bar on premises. Safety feature: room key required to access elevator to rooms. Close walking distance to the train station, and to downtown Limerick and Kings John Castle. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat!

Stayed here for 12 nights.
All of the staff are fantastic. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast very good. Location is ideal for walking to nearby restaurants, pubs, and shopping. There is even a little casino across the street.
Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
Thank you!

+1
I spent 2 nights here with a large group on March Break 2005. I am very impressed.
The lobby is large and spacious, with couches and even a small wheelchair lift to get up the very few steps. There is an adjascent bar (with beatiful piano) and a dining room with one long table. On the other side of the lobby, there's a HUGE conference room, used to serve the very substantial breakfast in the morning.
Our room, with a view overlooking the street, was not outstanding in any way, but had everything we needed, and was definitely spotless. There was a kettle, TV, toiletries, 2 hair dryers, a full bathtub, an ironing board & iron. The washroom was especially nice; the towel rack was a part of the hot water plumbing, keeping the towels nice and toasty.
Upstairs, there's a spacious exercise room equipped with a wonderful sauna, and it's own shower. It's only got room for maybe 5 people, but it wasn't crowded when we were there.
Although I'm not enthralled about the city of Limerick (we were there to visit Blarney Castle, the Rock of Cashel, Bunratty Castle and the Cliffs of Mohar) that hotel was absolutely perfect, and I would return in a heartbeat.

County Antrim, United Kingdom7 contributions5 helpful votesHi. Are you dog friendly? If not could you possible tell me a hotel that is dog friendly. I'm struggling. Greatly appreciated. Either city centre or 10 to 15 mins walk from the centre.
Yes, and if there is no space in hotel car park there is another car park right next to it at a reduced rate for people staying in the hotel
I think Sat & Sun brekkie is 8am to 10am, and weekdays it starts at 7.30am. I found reception staff extremely helpful so maybe they might accommodate your early check out if you contact them in advance, there is a contact us form on their website.
Yes, the hotel has access to a certain number of spaces in a secure underground carpark across the road. Looks a bit rough but it was secure.
