The Lawlors hotel is a very poor hotel in bad conditions with tiny rooms. Unfortunately we were there with a group for even 2 days. Rooms are in very bad conditions, wires lying everywhere, a bathroom of nearly 4 m2 and a shower of 65 x 65 cm. Don't mode in it. In my opinion not 1 star to rate...

This guesthouse is a joke. We stayed here as a group. Our reason for going to Kilkenny was to go out so realistically location wise this is what we wanted; we didn't need any luxuries. We stayed in a family room and the room was just very badly finished. There were holes in the wall that were clearly covered up,...

The main positive about this place is the location. It is only a stone’s throw from the train/bus station and the main street which has a lot of bars/restaurants/clubs. However, the location cannot save this place which is otherwise very disappointing. In short do not stay here. Rooms are dated. In a room for four only three towels were provided....

We stayed here for the wrecking ball weekend. The pub below the B&B has now got nothing to do with this B&B. Although the lady that met us was very pleasant and helpful I wouldn't recommend this B&B to families or couples. The rooms are clean and beds are comfy but thats where it ends. We had one socket for...

We stayed here last weekend, just a one night break in Kilkenny. We had never stayed in Lawlor's Guesthouse before, usually we try and get a room in The Hibernian Hotel so we were a bit unsure what we'd find but I have to say it really is great value for money. The location is perfect if you want to...
