The food was beautiful and the staff and service were amazing. We had everything we needed and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to Sheila & Pius for looking after us!! It was very noisy outside, the beds were not very comfortable and there was a musty smell. Out of all the places that we stayed while in Ireland this was the worst, not bad but not good either. Just ok.

My partner and I stayed here in July on a Saturday night. The rooms are a bit tired and the bathrooms could use some remodelling. The hotel itself has a bit of party feel (and a slight stale beer smell throughout).... I think it would really be suitable for large groups on stag or hen nights... if you are looking...

Booked this hotel over a Friday and Saturday night. Had emailed in advance twice to ask for a quiet room. When we arrived we soon realised our requests were ignored and our room was directly over the smoking area of the bar below. This meant we were kept awake with loud music and shouting until almost 2am both evenings. The...

My children and I stayed here in late june, 2015 and were unfortunately less than impressed with a number of issues during our stay. The first evening we were there, we went to the restaurant for dinner. We were shown to a table and given menus and all was well. When the food arrived, however, it quickly became obvious that...

We had another great stay in Kilford Arms for two nights B & B. We visit Kilkenny twice, sometimes three times yearly and always stay Sunday and Monday night in Kilford Arms. It is a very friendly family run hotel and very comfortable. Rooms are spacious and always clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Looking forward to our return.

From the minute I walked through the door I was guided in the right direction by the bar staff, I then checked in and had to change my room because it was a twin and not a double. This was done without hesitation the food was delicious and the staff where friendly
