We really loved our stay here. Lovely owners who were very quick to respond. Clean and very comfortable room. The breakfast was delicious and very convenient. Delighted with our accommodation in Kilkenny. A lovely welcome from Yvonne (owner). Great room and facilities. And so central. Very tasty continental breakfast left in room with fresh fruit, homemade bread etc. Definitely a place to return to. Thank you Yvonne and John.

Had a too-brief stay at Butler Court because of our itinerary. Yvonne and John are genial hosts, abetted by their friendly dog, Bo. The location is perfect for a visit to the medieval section of Kilkenny. Our room was nicely appointed, a small refrigerator and delicious local yogurt enhances your options for a bite in your room. The dining options out the door are myriad and there is do much to see within walking distance. Heartily recommend a stay at Butler Court when visiting one of Ireland’s prettiest cities.

We had a brief, but excellent stay at Butler Court. I wish we had spent more time in Kilkenny! Easy to get around town, you're in the heart of it all at this location, only a 3-5 minute walk to the castle. Very clean rooms, continental breakfast in the room for us to have the next morning at our leisure. The brown bread was excellent :) Bo the dog was a wonderful greeter, Yvonne and John were very helpful suggesting places to go and see (lots of new requirements to keep in mind traveling during the pandemic). Thank you for a great stay - we look forward to staying there again soon!

Fantastic room with loads of amenities. Clean and spacious with loaded fridge for breakfast. Filtered coffee and fresh milk was a plus. Very friendly hosts that made me feel right at home. Close to everything and free parking nearby. Bonus: Bob the dog - so friendly!

We had a lovely time at Butler's Court. Yvonne is the most welcoming host who made sure we had everything we needed for a great weekend. Neither of us could resist their adorable rescue dog:) Clean and cosy rooms, quiet environment, located on the main street of the town. All we needed for a relaxing weekend getaway! Spent a weekend in Butler Court, Received a wonderful welcome, the room was very spacious, bed was so comfortable. Great breakfast in our room, loved the fridge. Everything was spotless .Location is unbeatable .

We stayed here for three days when Mr Bob Dylan and Mr Neil Young had a concert in Kilkenny. We had some communication with the very nice Yvonne Dalton, before we traveled to Ireland, because we had some special wishes regarding food allergies. Everything was arranged in the absolute best way. The breakfast was perfect and the small fridge was filled with everything you need for breakfast. There was also a lot of local products. When we arrived, a smiling Yvonne welcomed us and gave us all the info we needed for a great stay in Kilkenny. If we go to Kilkenny again, it will definitely be at Butler Court.

The charm of Kilkenny will lead you straight to Butler’s Court! Loved the beautiful courtyard and Yvonne’s hospitality. She is so helpful and kind. Breakfast was simple and easy. We can’t wait to go back!

Yvonne was an awesome hostess and ended up being our travel guide for Kilkenny for the short time we were there. Everywhere she recommneded and things to do were spot on. The king-size bedroom and the self serve breakfast were the best value of our trip to Ireland! Service with a smile! Great location!
