Detailed Reviews
We had a one night stay in a SUPERIOR KING ROOM. The Hotel is very well situated in the heart of historical Kilkenny and has its own car park (essential here). We arrived early but our room was ready for us and for a city hotel was very good, although not a good view from the windows.
This Hotel has an excellent ambience and I wished we had had dinner there in their restaurant. The breakfast though was with full service and excellent in every way, ambience, choice, quality and service by the staff.
The nightly rate though is expensive but we felt worth paying.

After a shaky start regarding the non availability of a car parking space of any kind - disabled was requested - every aspect of our stay was perfect. The staff - particularly in the bar/dining area. Could I suggest that the lighting could be improved for dining. It was difficult to see the menu and food! The food was excellent.

The Pembroke was perfect for us and our 2 adult children! The location was amazing! It’s on a great street with lots of shops, bars, and restaurants but it’s not a hectic or noisy section of the street. It’s just a few minutes walk to the high street and the Kilkenny castle. The rooms were modern and clean and the staff were super friendly. We did not dine there… only croissants and coffee one morning and it was delicious. The parking was adjacent to the hotel which was very convenient. The area was safe and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel!

Myself and my husband came to kilkenny for the weekend. The room, staff, and food, not forgetting the Guinness were fabulous. The manager Paul checked in with us to ensure we were enjoying our stay.
I believe they have new Suites and a rooftop bar opening shortly, so we will definately be back to try out
A great hotel, smack bang in the middle of the town surrounded by great resturants and bars, a must stay when you visit Kilkenny my favorite town.
