Josephine is a delightful hostess. Despite arriving late and her power being turned off (so we couldn't call), she saved our rooms for us. She was a wealth of information on places to eat and things to do. She even made a dinner reservation for us! Her home is very comfortable & quiet, and her breakfasts were delicious. Everything in...

We enjoyed a nice stay with friendly hostess Josephine. Great location, about a 5 minute walk to town. Her pancakes (crepes) are quite tasty and rest of the breakfast offerings are great. Lovely older home with large rooms and high ceilings. Quiet and plenty of parking.

Mr and Mrs O'Reilly are wonderful hosts: they made us feel very comfortable from the very beginning of our stay. The room was really clean and cosy. It was delightful to take a shower with good water pressure after a long day! Breakfast was perfect. The B&B is a 5- min- walk away from the castle. What more can I...

My husband and I were on holiday in Kilkenny. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. Josephine was a very accommodating host. Her breakfast was the best in comparison to all the other b&bs we stayed at in our trip to Ireland. She spent some time talking to us about the area and her family. We felt right...

Great location for walking about the city. Clean. Nice linens. Good water pressure! Great breakfast with fresh baked scones. We stayed in room 2 which has a double bed and s single bed, a sitting area and a desk. Thanks so much for the hospitality!

Josephine was very friendly and welcoming. The room was perfect, very clean, and well kept. The breakfast was great - full Irish breakfast or pancakes, which were both great. It's about a 5 - 10 minute walk into the town. I would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone.

This is a beautiful old home on a quiet street within walking distance to town. Our hostess, Josephine, is charming and helpful and welcoming. We found our room to be quite spacious, the bath a bit small but squeaky clean, and the breakfasts outstanding. Our walk each day into town was easy and pleasant. We enjoyed having our car parked...

Stayed 2 nights at Carriglea in early October. Josephine was very welcoming and looked after us well during our stay. Breakfast was excellent. Our room #2 was one of the biggest we encountered during our holiday in Ireland. It was very well equipped and spotlessy clean. The location to explore Kilkenny could not have been better.
