Val and Tom are like family! We arrived early and went to a pub to call them and they came to get us in their car! The breakfast was delightful and the room clean and comfortable. They gave us many hints on shortcuts to town (even though they are a short walk) and where to eat- Matt the Millers was our favorite. They take off from October to spring to be with family. Thanks Val and Tom-you are the best!

We absolutely loved our stay at Dunromin. It had everything we needed and more! We had a beautifully quiet room with bathroom and superb breakfasts, but the best thing of all were the hosts! Val and Tom really made our stay something special and helped us get the most out of our time in Kilkenny and surrounds. Thank you, you were amazing!

Val and Tom were the most gracious hosts, they have a beautiful B&B that is clean, well kept, and comfortable. I stayed there for 9 nights and had quiet, peaceful sleep, a fantastic breakfast and they were both so helpful with bus information and sights to see. Their garden is so beautiful and they supplied all we needed in our room. The location is just a short walk into Kilkenny and easy to find. At the end of my trip it felt like I was leaving family, they will always have a place in my heart.

This was our first stop and it did not disappoint. Val was so friendly and accommodating, my cousin and I remarked that the bar had been set very high and would be hard to beat! Breakfast was delicious and Val was helpful in assisting the planning of our days. Kilkenny was also a great town...not too big, but a good introduction to the country. Would definitely return!
