My Stay at The Kilkenny Hibernian Hotel was a Wonderful Experience. From The Front Desk Staff to The Restaurant Team, Nothing was to great for the Staff who made my Stay In Kilkenny, a wonderful memorable Experience. The Kilkenny Hibernian is Centrally located in the Centre of town with the Castle just a stones throw away, with great Restaurants and pubs close by. I highly recommend the Field and lanicans for great live music along with The Kyteler inn close by. For those looking for a great Stay in Kilkenny look no further than The Kilkenny Hibernian Hotel you will no be disappointed. I look forward to a future Visit In Kilkenny.

This is a great venue, beautiful inside, exceptional service, very accommodating, the seafood chowder was great as was the fish & chips. Great selection of beers, stouts wines & whiskeys, a pint of Kilkenny is a must. Will definitely be back

Lovely hotel in a great location. Room and en-suite were lovely. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and shower was good. The breakfast was delicious and service was very good.guys in a busy area so it can be a bit noisy with bars and clubs but the location is great.

Outstanding hotel in the center of the city. Everything to see and do is in walking distance. The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful, restaurant and bar are super with great staff. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. Would stay there in a heartbeat again.

We chose this hotel because of its location and we were not disappointed. Easy walk to restaurants, attractions and pubs. We had a group of three couples. Ola at the front desk was super kind and helpful in getting our accommodations sorted before we arrived. Great asset to the hotel. We too agree the rooms were a bit hot. Know going in that the rooms do not have AC if you are visiting in the warmer summer months. We had one small fan. Larger fans to keep guests comfortable would be a nice addition. We came back after a night on the town to find the bar had closed. However, the bartender promptly offered to serve us a nightcap in the lobby. Breakfast buffet was a little lacking compared to other hotels throughout our trip. However, we ordered items off the menu and they arrived quickly, hot and tasty. If ever back to Kilkenny we would definitely stay here again.…

Beautiful hotel - luxurious rooms - delicious breakfast - fun pub with live music - great location - wonderful staff. We stayed here for 2 nights after flight from US. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy all that Kilkenny has to offer. We loved it!

Whilst a central location for the hotel was fantastic and Andrew was very helpful on the front desk the hotel failed to clean our room once over a 3 night stay so we had to proactively ask for toilet rolls clean cups and towels etc.. We left having never had the room cleaned once. Then after we returned from trips and get togethers we were refused any resident bar facilities! After talking to Bosco & Megan they finally allowed us one drink in the lobby only and we were made to feel like a real inconvenience . This was upsetting as we have always stayed in Irish hotels where we can have a baileys at the end of the night and a little chat. I have never stayed in a 4/5 star hotel without resident bar facilities! The breakfast was lovely but we kept being given different times that it finished everyday so it caused confusion in our group of family and friends when we tried to arrange timings to meet up for breakfast together. Overall our expectations were sadly not met.…

This is a very nice hotel in a wonderful downtown location. The amazing castle is less than a 5 minute walk. Our suite was extremely large and quite nice. And the bar at the hotel had great music the two nights we stayed there. We asked (in advance and when we checked in) for a quiet room. We were assured by the front desk person that our room was quiet. But, the hotel doesn't have AC. So we need to open the windows so that the room was comfortable. And that meant we had a lot of noise, so much so that sleeping was impossible until things quieted down outside. If noise/lack of AC isn't an issue, stay here. But if it is, consider other options. But I don't know if the lack of AC is an issue in all hotels here. And skip the breakfast buffet. It wasn't good at all and there are several nearby places for breakfast.…

As good as it gets… almost.. a few minor issues but still worth a ***** rating… the one night experience we had at the Hibernian during our coach tour was great. Great location great room great people great food great service… The minor issue was with the television.. apparently (according to reception) the room had a new fan fitted the day before our arrival. The electrician will need to return to sort out why the fan remote also turns the television on and off… Not a big issue for us as we had plenty to entertain us out and about so did not really need the television anyway. So reception said they would refer the issue to the electrician. Would we stay again? A definite yes to that…
