Great place, the bar is located downstairs. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was big, clean with complimentary toiletries which I did not expect in a hostel. The breakfast next morning was wholesome, a full proper Irish breakfast and the staff were really nice. Real value for money and more than what you expect.

Yes the room was clean. HOWEVER we stayed in room 6, next to a small ventilator shaft/atrium. When the pub closed the air vent started (assume an air vent but not sure what caused it) the noise vibrated the bedroom and bathroom it was so loud and kept going every few few minutes. The noise was incredible and not possible to sleep at all. It must have happened more than 50 times! during the night. There is something very wrong with their equipment. Despite asking at breakfast and being promised a phone call from the manager and numerous emails and messages sent through their website, no one has contacted me at all. Things go wrong but as no one has contacted me and tried to resolve these problems I feel they have their money and couldn't care less. Very unpleasant stay.

The bar is a lovely little traditional bar and the man behind the bar was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were basic but very clean, which in my opinion is the main thing to look for in any b&b. The locational is fabulous also.

We stayed two nights . Room was tiny and bed was broken, when we lifted mattress to see the problem under the bed was filthy. Breakfast was not good at all . Rashes you could shave with . Veggie breakfast was egg and beans . Not a bit of fruit in site . Overpriced for what we got .

We had just left Kirby's Brogue Inn looking for some music venue , when a gentleman approached us . He had overheard us talking about going to listen to music and he took us to Sean Og's Bar. It is a pleasant bar with friendly bartenders and customers. The bar was not full but the music did not start until 9:30 pm . At 9:15 pm the bar filled up , standing room only . The music started promptly and was very lively , people singing and swaying with the music. No disappoinment there. And the friendly people wanting conversation . We had a great time and this is definitley a local pub . I did'nt want to leave.

We booked our short break through booking.com over New year 2017/18 On arrival the bar man showed us the room, he was friendly and the only good experience while staying there. There was no breakfast available, which isn't what we would call B&B. Basically it was a hostel, which when traveling with children is not great to encounter when booking a B&B. It might be fine for adult groups but for families with children I recommend to look elsewhere. Also the fact that the bar guests smoke outside the front door means and the room stank of cigarette smoke. Our room was on the top floor, and it still stank. Also it proved quite difficult to get a breakfast on new year day in Tralee, which makes the experience even worse. The room was a good size, the bathroom was clean but had no…
