The B and B at Seán Ogs is priced to reflect the quality. So the room is small, cleanliness questionable, a bit rough and ready and potentially noisy. But the bed was reasonable the shower was hot - toiletries provided - and there was a hospitality tray It is close to Bella Bia which provided an excellent evening meal Breakfast was ok. The main problem was no proper coffee. The cooked food had been made well in advance - despite our arrival at the earliest time - and it was all a bit crispy with solid eggs. The croissants are an unexpected triumph . Service at breakfast was lovely. All in all we were happy
a place for a pint or two, or three or how many you wish and survive... it was suggested by Irish friend a place to go, and I pass the tip, really worth going, stopping in and enjoy endless chat with marvelous people, good music, definitively a pub to visit ... no wifi but talk to people... love it
Only managed to stay the one night on a touring holiday with my son. We fell lucky and were able to park just outside and were well looked after by the staff. A buzzing bar that we were lucky enough to catch on a live band night that made this a highlight instead of just a stopover. Enjoyed a hearty breakfast before heading on our way. A great place!
8 of us stayed in Sean Ogs B&B for a weekend away for a Dublin V Kerry game. Sean (John) was so welcoming along with all his staff. We had a great time. Room were compact but had everything you would need, warm, spotless and the showers were great. Breakfast is fab and the Craic is ninety. Thanks guys.
I stayed in Sean Og’s B&B in Tralee on Saturday nite because it was a 1 nite stay booked in a hurry I didn’t expect much from this place how wrong was I. !!! Firstly the bar is nice and Cosy a turf fire going in the evening staff polite and helpful check in was a 2 minute affair given key shown to room which were of 4star hotel quality although small in size it was very comfortable with tea & coffee making facilities en-suite spotless soap shampoo etc provided breakfast superb served promptly all for €65 per couple will def stay here again
An absolute gem of a pub. Serious craic. Great music!. Great staff ! . A must if you are in Tralee. Looking forward to going back already. We’ll come back to beat Kerry next year ! 😀😀 I didn’t stay in the accommodation but will certainly book it next time around.
This is a beautiful quaint little pub. Staff are exceptionally friendly and chatty. Its the type of bar you could walk into on your own without knowing anyone and yet immediately feel like you're surrounded by friends! This place is a little gem!!
I was traveling solo for work and required good value and comfortable bed. Got all that and more in Sean Og’s. Room was spotless clean with lots of Barry’s tea. Shower was excellent and a good breakfast was provided next morning. I dropped into the bar for one drink and to listen to the delightful music from Shane. Great night sleep too. Will definitely return if working in Tralee again. Best value in town
We had a great evening with family and friends listening to very talented musicians and great music. The pints was decently priced, unfortunately no food to enjoy while being entertained with the music!
Great place, the bar is located downstairs. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was big, clean with complimentary toiletries which I did not expect in a hostel. The breakfast next morning was wholesome, a full proper Irish breakfast and the staff were really nice. Real value for money and more than what you expect.
