Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

a bit dingy and dark and a bit of an edge about the place but we got drinking with the locals, no airs and graces, and had a great night out. one of the few places around that people get out to apparently. good music, gets crowded late, all types/ages

Would never return to this B & B - rooms were very small, bathroom door wouldn’t close, smell along the corridors of greasy food. Breakfast a nightmare, the grease on the plate was so bad you could fry another breakfast with it. The waitress stood at the door and shouted across the room at us did we want a full Irish very hard to understand her so we asked her to come to the table to place our breakfast order. Left the whole breakfast on the plate it was that greasy.

If conversation ,good music and friendly staff are important to you then this place fits the bill. Small. traditional and cosy it is a genuine Irish pub. They have a sign on the wall that says "No Wifi - talk to each other" Would definitely go back

A huge thank you, to all the staff at Sean ogs for making me feel so welcome. To Timmy, Catarina and all the great staff, I felt so comfortable. Nothing was a problem for them in helping to make my stay like a home from home. I will definitely be back next year. Highly recommend. A great two weeks, huge breakfast, full Irish, cereal yoghurt, and the kettle in my room, free wi fi, all worked great. P.s. I am a senior, and felt welcome and safe every day there .

The B and B at Seán Ogs is priced to reflect the quality. So the room is small, cleanliness questionable, a bit rough and ready and potentially noisy. But the bed was reasonable the shower was hot - toiletries provided - and there was a hospitality tray It is close to Bella Bia which provided an excellent evening meal Breakfast was ok. The main problem was no proper coffee. The cooked food had been made well in advance - despite our arrival at the earliest time - and it was all a bit crispy with solid eggs. The croissants are an unexpected triumph . Service at breakfast was lovely. All in all we were happy

Only managed to stay the one night on a touring holiday with my son. We fell lucky and were able to park just outside and were well looked after by the staff. A buzzing bar that we were lucky enough to catch on a live band night that made this a highlight instead of just a stopover. Enjoyed a hearty breakfast before heading on our way. A great place!

8 of us stayed in Sean Ogs B&B for a weekend away for a Dublin V Kerry game. Sean (John) was so welcoming along with all his staff. We had a great time. Room were compact but had everything you would need, warm, spotless and the showers were great. Breakfast is fab and the Craic is ninety. Thanks guys.
