Detailed Reviews
Room (1 double, 1 single) basic and clean. Came with shower and toilet facility which was clean. Nice shower. Beds were a bit springy so not the most comfortable but for the price of the room (58 euro) I wouldn't complain about it. Good value for money. In a great location inTralee town. Short walking distance to main square, shopping streets, restaurants, bars and cafes. The bar itself is a nice traditional bar, great atmosphere in there. Owner was a gent. Parking available in the nearby Abbey Car Park (paid parking from 8.30 am to 6.30pm @ €1.20 an hour). Would recommend if looking for low budget accommodation in Tralee. Good base for travelling to other towns like Dingle and Killarney. Would stay again.

Fires lit, beers flowing and your mans on the guitar by 9 ish in the evening belting out the best songs you'll hear in the town. Sunday night was brilliant

Had my girlfriend and her little niece, Maggie, in Tralee for a week. They are from Germany and it was Maggie's, aged seven, first time to Ireland. She had never seen live music before and had the best first experience thanks to all the staff at Sean Ogs. From the begining we were greeted at the door by a gentleman named Brian who showed us to some front row seats when he realised it was a special event for the little one. We got to watch Ross, a fantastic Irish musician with an amazing voice, play some great songs ,one of which he dedicated to Maggie. Looking to further her experience our new friend Brian offered to take her behind the bar for some pictures with Tralees favourite barman 'Flash'. Along with that she was then given some souvenirs to take home with her as we were leaving. Truly top class by you all and an experience Maggie will not forget. She is already planning for the next visit ☘️👍

Brilliant Night there. Bar staff were absolutely amazing from start to finish, especially one barman, gift of the gab, brilliant with all the punters, forgot to get his name, brilliant barman. Welcoming, great fun and service. Music was great too. Will definitely return when back in Tralee.

Delighted to see this place open again!
Customers are well spaced out and the pints, drinks and cocktails are delicious.
Excellent service - welcomed upon arrival and very well taken care of throughout the few hours.
Very clean toilets.
Just a lovely pub to spend a few hours and chill out safely.
Great tunes on the playlist too!

I visited Sean Og's last night with my wife and the place is what it is, a lively traditional Irish pub with live music entertainment. The live music was fine at first with traditional folky songs but then turned a little dark with songs about the Easter Rising and then in to full on rebel songs inciting hatred against the British. The hatred was tangible and vitriolic and made us visiting Brits very uncomfortable. It's sad to see a young generation of Irish still singing this stuff. A warm Irish welcome it was not.

A great place for Night 2 of wedding! Flash reserved a few tables for us in front of the singer and we had an absolute ball. It was a fun night and everyone enjoyed themselves. Sean Ogs is a fantastic pub.

Such a great place to stay - stayed with my boyfriend for a night and the location is ideal, right in the town center! Instantly greeted by such friendly & helpful staff. Rooms are as shown in photos and easily accessible. Spent the entire evening in the bar and the buzz was great! Ideal for 18-28 age range, but honestly would suit anyone that decided to take a trip down! Really friendly, efficient & quick service, miss it already & can’t wait to visit again :)

With the new eat and drink laws this is one of the best places.. One large pizza for family and few drinks. This new eat in is killing pub buisness. Some are greedy insist everyone buys a 9euro meal..great set up out in the shed.. Recommended, 👍👍👍👍

Hello,
The pub is great for atmosphere but there are a lot of places to choose from to eat. We ate at the Stonehouse which is only a couple of minutes walk and rated very highly.
All the necessary items. Soap and shampoo.
Bring your own . It’s very basic
Hi,
Tralee is a calm and small town.
There are parking places behind the house and a huge parking area in the shopping area nearby.
best regards
