Had my girlfriend and her little niece, Maggie, in Tralee for a week. They are from Germany and it was Maggie's, aged seven, first time to Ireland. She had never seen live music before and had the best first experience thanks to all the staff at Sean Ogs. From the begining we were greeted at the door by a gentleman named Brian who showed us to some front row seats when he realised it was a special event for the little one. We got to watch Ross, a fantastic Irish musician with an amazing voice, play some great songs ,one of which he dedicated to Maggie. Looking to further her experience our new friend Brian offered to take her behind the bar for some pictures with Tralees favourite barman 'Flash'. Along with that she was then given some souvenirs to take home with her as we were leaving. Truly top class by you all and an experience Maggie will not forget. She is already planning for the next visit ☘️👍…
Best bar in town! Such a cosy atmosphere in this bar 🥰 All staff are so welcoming and beyond friendly. A personal favourite of mine is their “Swimming Pool” cocktail 🍸 Who ever makes the cocktails deserves an award 🥇 A new favourite of mine is the “Watermelon Mojito” 🍉 Bathrooms are very well kept and the Covid situation is very well managed here 👍🏻 Lovely outside area with heaters 🔥 Live music is always brilliant and definitely worth going to see 🎶 Highly recommend that everyone visit ‼️
Room (1 double, 1 single) basic and clean. Came with shower and toilet facility which was clean. Nice shower. Beds were a bit springy so not the most comfortable but for the price of the room (58 euro) I wouldn't complain about it. Good value for money. In a great location inTralee town. Short walking distance to main square, shopping streets, restaurants, bars and cafes. The bar itself is a nice traditional bar, great atmosphere in there. Owner was a gent. Parking available in the nearby Abbey Car Park (paid parking from 8.30 am to 6.30pm @ €1.20 an hour). Would recommend if looking for low budget accommodation in Tralee. Good base for travelling to other towns like Dingle and Killarney. Would stay again.
This pub is fantastic place to go for a for a few beers, 1 of the best beer garden bars I have seen. Best part of this bar was the barman, had a few pints on Friday afternoon and the stories he told made it a great afternoon
Such a great place to stay - stayed with my boyfriend for a night and the location is ideal, right in the town center! Instantly greeted by such friendly & helpful staff. Rooms are as shown in photos and easily accessible. Spent the entire evening in the bar and the buzz was great! Ideal for 18-28 age range, but honestly would suit anyone that decided to take a trip down! Really friendly, efficient & quick service, miss it already & can’t wait to visit again :)
Delighted to see this place open again! Customers are well spaced out and the pints, drinks and cocktails are delicious. Excellent service - welcomed upon arrival and very well taken care of throughout the few hours. Very clean toilets. Just a lovely pub to spend a few hours and chill out safely. Great tunes on the playlist too!
Excellent last minute stay, John was great and provided a breakfast bag as breakfast wasn’t available due to COVID-19 The bar in the evening is great craic plenty of hustle and bustle. This little gem is in the town Center perfect to stroll to all local amenities
We were staying in a hotel outside Tralee and looked for a recommendation from the bar staff for a pub in Tralee. Without literally taking a breath, we were told Sean Og's... We hadn't a booking so were quite lucky getting a table as others later on were turned away. Mask on, until you sat at your table, and mask on, every time you left your table. Drinks reasonable and crowd young..Saw people getting pizzas and realised we could order one so we did. A fiver for a delicious Pepperoni pizza...where would you get it??! Was talking to the owner near the end of the night and commended him for trying his best to keep all in check. A large group of younger people in front of us who were two separate tables had begun to totally mix when he was busy, which he noticed when he came back and he read them the riot act...it worked...Lovely man, ordered us a taxi himself to get back to our hotel and it was a fiver cheaper than the taxi the hotel called us. Cara cabs I think it was called. …
With the new eat and drink laws this is one of the best places.. One large pizza for family and few drinks. This new eat in is killing pub buisness. Some are greedy insist everyone buys a 9euro meal..great set up out in the shed.. Recommended, 👍👍👍👍
