This was our second visit to the Rose Hotel. Great location for the Aquadome and Tralee town. 20 mins from Camp and Castlegregory. Food always great, good selection at all meals. Service could be improved as hotel wasn't overly busy. Would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here as an Extended Family of Five Adults (one wheelchair user) & Four Children in Three Rooms for Four Nights. The Hotel is Fantastic, All of the Staff are Extremely Friendly & Helpful. The Rooms & the Entire Hotel were spotlessly clean. The Breakfast Food & Room was Excellent. Dott's Bar was Perfect for an evening meal for all of us. Being Located in Tralee it is a good starting point for seeing the sights in County Kerry. A Fantastic Experience for All of Us.
We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. Everything was fantastic. Superb staff who were friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble. Gorgeous bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds. Fantastic food and a brilliant selection for breakfast. Something to suit every taste. We've already booked to return in July next year. Mark Sullivan keep doing what you're doing; you've got things so right.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Rose Hotel. Staff where lovely and friendly. We upgraded our room without difficulty. Food was fab. Breakfast choice great. Breakfast room service was unreliable. Thank you
Had a fantastic time staying in the rose hotel, the staff had the highest of expertise and very welcoming and helpful, the food was excellent, location perfect for what I needed, I would recommend The Rose Hotel.
We stayed at the Rose Hotel for 2 nights last week, we had a package that included bed and breakfast, tickets for the aquadome, kids in kids club both evening where they had dinner and 1 evening meal for me and my husband. It was worth every penny. The food was fabulous, both breakfast and dinner. Marie served us in the restaurant for dinner and was so helpful even though she was so busy. All staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative was that the rooms could really do with updating. Will definitely return.
Hotel was really lovely. Air conditioning in rooms is great. Room was lovely and airy with windows open when we arrived. This is great now that we ate in times of covid. Breakfast was lovely and tables were well spaced apart, Dinner in bar was good value and served quickly. Staff were friendly and polite and efficient. Cjecking in and out was fast. Cost was 100 euros each for b and b. All hotel prices have gone up. This would be expensive enough for us and we would be unable to stay the second night. For families it works put too expensive if your children are over 12. We have 4 childtren over 12 and one under 12.
We are from Canada and stayed here for two nights during an 11 day bus tour tour around Ireland. Our first impression was of the front desk upon check in, where our names were not on the guest list. I don't believe that this was actually the hotel's fault, but our check in was long and painful. The room was large enough but was not up to date. The main issues here were about staff and food. The bar staff was consistently abrupt, unfriendly and unpleasant. Smiles were almost totally absent in this hotel and quite a few employees-bar staff, waiters and the breakfast host were openly hostile. This was shocking behaviour in a country known world wide for its charm, humour and good cheer. We did actually speak to the manager one morning after an incident with the breakfast host, who was openly hostile to us. The manager seemed surprised to hear anything negative about his staff and did offer us a bottle of wine to compensate. The one exception to this rule was the lovely woman in the spa who gave me a pedicure. I unfortunately forget her name, but she was absolutely delightful. Attitude , manners and customer service are everything in the hospitality business.- From food prep and delivery to bar service and greeting, this whole team needs retraining from top to bottom. They have been resting on their laurels for too long. If you wish to attract international visitors during a global pandemic, you need to seriously up your game. This convention centre/hotel needs to seriously revisit its identity and purpose in order to remain current, relevant and vital. We will never return to this property. This hotel needs a new lease on life.…
From start to finish The Rose Hotel was exceptional, the staff couldn't have been any more helpful, very welcoming, courteous and highly professional. We highly recommend the hotel and look forward to returning in the very near future.
Great location, food was really nice and staff really friendly. Location was perfect for the purpose of our visit. We visted the Aquadome which is within walking distance and town centre is only a 10 min walk.
