Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We recently had our wedding reception at Ballyroe Heights Hotel this September 2022. We were so happy while dealing with Ballyroe from the start. Patrick, who deals with organizing wedding receptions there, could not have been more helpful. He went above and beyond in making us feel so at ease on the day and throughout the planning. We are so grateful to Patrick for everything beforehand and on the day that he done for us and making sure everything ran so well. The staff at Ballyroe were also amazing and so helpful and friendly. We had a lot of family visiting to attend our wedding and everyone commented on how amazing the staff at the hotel were.I would highly recommend Ballyroe to anyone planning a wedding.

Had a fantastic stay in the Ballyroe for a family wedding. The thoughtful and friendly staff catered to my girlfriend who is lactose intolerant with different choices for. The summit bar has some lovely views where we had the drink reception. We had our breakfast brought to our room to enjoy. Out in our balcony. Would recommend it highly

We had our wedding reception in Ballyroe Heights Hotel in August and it was amazing from start to finish. Mike and Patrick were always on hand to help before, during and after the day. They are absolute pros and did everything possible to ensure the day ran smoothly. We got so many compliments about the food, it was amazing. If you are thinking about booking Ballyroe for your wedding, do not hesitate!

The best wedding at Ballyroe height hotel. Great service throughout the day, fab drinks (and cocktails!), food was amazing and the staff were excellent. The views are breathtaking from the summit and the ballroom was so well decorated and presented. Could not recommend more- congratulations to the whole team!

I spent a weekend at Ballyroe Heights recently and to say it exceeded expectations is an understatement. From check in to departure, it was a total pleasure. Exceedingly friendly staff from receptionists, bar staff, waiting staff and management. Absolutely nothing was a bother. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The grounds are stunning and the view from the hotel is beyond words. The breakfast was delicious with an excellent choice and the bar and restaurant food was outstanding. Freshly prepared, well presented and excellent quality. Can't wait for an excuse to return!!!!

We had our wedding reception in the Ballyroe Heights Hotel in July. Everything was absolutely perfect. Patrick and Mike were the guys who we were dealing with. Two absolute gents! So helpful and accommodating 😊 We had the most amazing day, from the red carpet entrance, with the saxophone playing outside ( I can’t remember the musicians name but he was so talented, had a nice chat with him outside, a really lovely guy) The decor was perfect! So elegant! And we added our own little bits too 😊 The food was amazing! Everyone I spoke to said it was beautiful! The Prosecco trike was a big hit! It was just amazing! Thanks so much to all the management and staff at the Ballyroe, Leanne and Scott (9th of July 22)

Stayed in Ballyroe recently and I have to compliment the staff who were all outstanding and couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was made memorable. The food was top class and plenty of it. The breakfast had everything that was needed and the full Irish was indeed that. The rooms were bright and spacious and had lovely tea/coffee facilities. The views from the hotel as just like a painting and it’s so near everything an ideal location to stay. Will definitely be back well done to all the staff and keep up the great work.
