Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our stay at this historical place was nothing short of fantastic! Rory, our host, was a true gem who made us feel welcome from start to finish. The historical ambiance of the place was captivating, and it’s clear that the owners take great pride in preserving its heritage. Now, let’s talk about breakfast – it was absolutely delicious, and Rory’s culinary skills are top-notch. Rory’s warmth and knowledge added an extra layer of charm to our stay, providing us with invaluable insights and recommendations. If you’re seeking a historical getaway with a wonderful host and mouthwatering breakfast, this place is it!

Both times we stayed with Rory, his house was full. But he attended to us as if we were the only people there. Not by hovering over us, but by remembering and attending to our particular requests. The home is lovely. The beds are large and comfortable. The breakfasts are sumptuous. A great house. A great stay. A great host.

Our party of 8 had a very pleasant one night stay in Castlemorris House. Rory was very easy to deal with when making the booking, and a congenial and friendly host when we arrived. The house is very conveniently situated on the outskirts of Tralee, with the town centre being about a 20-minute walk away. The rooms were comfortable, and the breakfast simply superb.

Breakfast was of the highest quality especially the continental ..fantastic cheese’s Sereno ham & lovely smoked salmon… homemade weaten bread… set in a lovely dining room. Owners Rory& wife working to improve bathrooms etc ( work in progress) well worth the fee.

We stayed on the top floor of this impressive, grand-looking home. Our rooms were spacious and very clean. The host was helpful getting us a dinner reservation and it was a pleasant walk through a rose garden/park to the restaurant area. Breakfast was delicious with a number of great choices - we loved the French toast. We had unusually warm weather so windows were open in our room and street noise was somewhat noticeable, but didn’t detract from our lovely stay. We appreciated the easy parking at the B&B.

We stayed at this place in mid-September 2022. We were running late and missed the check in time but Rory was kind enough to wait for us and check us in. The room was big and the bed was pretty comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling that area.

Loved our step back in time to another era.....the house is stunning. Spacious room, with sitting area and super comfortable bed. Rory has added all the little extras that we love.....tea/coffee facilities in the room and bottled water.....thank you. No request is too much trouble for our host who even fulfilled my need for a wee 'frig in our room.....much appreciated and worked a treat for all it's size.....didn't know they made them that small :) The highlight of our stay was the amazing Irish breakfast....best we had in our 2 week jaunt around the green isle. Highly recommend you stay here!

The combination of the beautiful historic building and the warm, welcoming proprietor made for a fantastic stay in Tralee. Rory had great recommendations for a place to go watch the Hurling final, and he made us reservations at a nice restaurant for dinner. Then was the breakfast that was provided... incredible.
