Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Having recently spent several nights at AirBnB, which can be rather OTT, it was a delight to arrive at Bayview! This was the perfect cure. Spotless throughout. Our room had a full bath and the room itself was spacious. Advice on dinner was spot on, local lobster at the West End in Fenit - it took forever to eat - a whole lobster! Jerry and Teresa are so nice and of course the breakfast was excellent. Much cheaper than the alternatives down the Dingle peninsula. It was the whole package and an absolute delight. It quite perked me up.

This bed and breakfast is one of a kind. The hosts are such deligtful and excellent people. They are so friendly and helpful. My luggage was unfortunately lost in my flight from Canada, leaving me with very few options to change my clothes. Therea washed them for me not once but twice! They really saved my life! They care deeply and do everything in their power to make your stay in Kerry enjoyable. The rooms were simply perfect. Do not judge by the pictures on this site, they have been renovated and are quite cosy, not to mention perfectly clean! Breakfasts are delicious and amazing. My only regret is not staying longer!

Hi Stephanie, I would like to thank you both for the great review, but we were only too happy to help in a small way and make you stay more enjoyable. We felt so bad for you both that your luggage had not been found and only hope it will show up in the next few days. I hope you enjoy the Cliffs of Moher and that it was clear, but here in Tralee we had lots of rain today. Thank you both again and enjoy the rest of your holiday. Regards, Teresa

Our hosts Jerry and Teresa were so welcoming. Full of advice and a friendly smile. The breakfasts, cakes and tea or coffee on offer were wonderful. I recommend the salmon and scrambled eggs for breakfast! Although the fresh fruit was great too. The rooms were perfectly clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The location is also great for discovering the surrounding areas. Highly recommended. Thank you Jerry and Teresa!

The best B&B of our weeklong visit to Ireland! Teresa and Jerry were the perfect hosts, very helpful, friendly, and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. We arrived late our first evening but had phoned ahead. When Teresa heard that we hadn't had any supper, she graciously offered us tea and a generous serving of delicious cake. It was very much appreciated and a wonderful start to our visit! Our room was comfortable and spotless. The breakfasts were generous, delicious and perfectly cooked. Really wish we had more days here and we hope to be back. We will be recommending Bayview House to any of our friends who are planning a trip to Ireland! Thank you Teresa and Jerry from your Canadian fans!

We spent two nights here as part of our Irish tour Wished we had spent more. Teresa and Jerry were excellent hosts the food was superb and the house and gardens spotlessly maintained. Of all the B and B and B s we visited this was by far the best Bay View was by far the best. Well done on all counts
