Sandra and her staff are top notch. And the facility, breakfast and location is absolutely PERFECT for staying in Tralee. The other reviewers covers most of what we would say and we agree 100%! Highly, highly recommend Brook Manor Lodge and when we return to Tralee to visit family, we will be staying there! You won't be disappointed.
We were over visiting family. Took the scenic way to Cork from Mayo and decided to spend a night near The Ring of Kerry. Brook Manor Lodge was idyllic. Sandra gave us a warm welcome upon arrival. Our room was pure heaven and looked out over the beautiful garden. Room was equipped with all the necessities plus many luxuries. After a terrific night’s sleep we went down to the lovely conservatory for breakfast where we watched birds at feeders and enjoyed one of the best breakfasts ever! The Manor is spotlessly clean. All the precautions for Covid taken. Everyone is welcoming, helpful and friendly. We were sad to only stay one night. Highly recommend.
Such a beautiful homely place to spend a holiday Sandra was an exceptional host with very high standards Short distance drive to Tralee and to some lovely bar/restaurants Travelled around County Kerry and based ourselves in Brook Manor Lodge The fabulous breakfast would set you up for the day Highly recommend this accommodation
We are just back from 5 nights in Kerry and we stayed at the Brook Manor lodge. I cannot speak highly enough of this accomodation. Sandra our host was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and spotless. The breakfast menu is very varied and the food is delicious from Eggs Benedict to traditional Full Irish. All the staff were excellent and the little extras like bringing us extra water and helping us dry our wet clothes make this a superb place to stay. The taxi service from here into Fenit or Tralee is also excellent so you can leave the car behind if you wish to.
The welcome we received from Sandra was so warm. She knew it was my husbands birthday and our anniversary so she upgraded us and gave us chocolates and a bottle of Prosecco at my request which I had said I would pay extra for it but she did it for no extra payment. The cleanliness is exceptional and so much care is taken to make sure your stay is a happy one. We have stayed once before but will definitely return. Definitely a 10 star rating for all especially the host Sandra
The moment we arrived we knew we has chosen the perfect hotel as our base for our 4 day Kerry adventure. A few minutes out of town so nice and quiet. Beautiful rooms, very tasteful, spacious, clean and bright with wonderfully comfortable beds. Sandra is a perfect host, she checked in with us at breakfast and works to assure you have a perfect stay. The breakfast are both generous and fantastic in the lovely conservatory, no better way to start the day. Close to the spectacular Banna Strand, go and watch the sunset over the Atlantic, sublime. Overall, ideal. Don't hesitate, start and finish your Kerry experience here, you won't find any better.
We stayed overnight at the Brook Manor Lodge. The experience was simply great. This was an absolutely wonderful stay. Sandra, the inn keeper was very pleasant. In addition, she was able to provide a plug converter gratis, as ours were stolen out of our bags when we flew over. The breakfast was spectacular. There was a selection no matter what your taste could be, and more food than could be consumed. Overall, highly recommend this bed and breakfast.
I have not stayed in a B and B for years choosing always hotels. I had just returned from a cruise to find my dughter had a arranged a three night stay at the Brook Manor .for her mum and I,, saying it was highly recommended. Considering the price I thought it must be good so looked forward to arriving late on Sunday night. Sandra met us at the door with a welcoming smile ,once in the room I knew this is going to be good, we had a long drive to get there but after a great nights sleep,in the luxury of our room we were ready for breakfast. The rooms are furnished in the best and great attention if placed on detail, a trouser press. Ironing board, fridge with bottled water , fruit, biscuits ,chocolates , and tea making facilities. Moving to the dining room at a time to suit us we were set a table with clean crisp cloth and an array of fruit ,juices cheese bread etc, much superior to most hotels. from the menue we coose a cooked breakfast that came as orderd to the last detail, and served so beautifully with no grease and not a sloppy mess. the one problem was I put on weight, not the fault of the Manor as there was plenty of healthy options. No doubt i will be back if healthy and well as the long drive was compensated by great hospitality, and of course the great seneic drived that are easily reached from this central position.…
We heard about this place through a referral and read about it on Trip Advisor. We agree with the majority of the reviews. It is convenient to both the town of Tralee and the Tralee Golf Club. The hostess, Sandra, was very helpful and accomodating (allowing us an early check-in, around noon). She told us all about what was in the area for dining, etc. We had a large room on the first floor (no lugging bags up the stairs) and we had a delicious breakfast the next day. Very happy with our stay there.
From our arrival to departure everything was perfect. Sandra is the consummate host and made us welcome. The room was large and had 5 star luxury and facilities. The grounds are beautiful and there is a sitting room with books and a CD library for the room. Breakfast was in a sun room with an array of fruit, cereal and bread and a menu for orders for a hot meal. All in all A1!
