We stayed in the wonderful Ballygarry Suite in Ballygarry House Hotel. What can I say? It was just stunning. The interior design of this suite is just sublime. All the nice touches from the pop-up TV hidden at the end of the bed to the wonderful sitting room to the beautiful products in the bathroom( I actually did not use my own products that I had brought with me and that was a first in a hotel)to the great dyson hairdryer/ styler and all the other very nice and thoughtful touches throughout the room. We thoroughly appreciated them. Lovely bottles of still and sparkling water all through the room. Nespresso machine, coffee and tea making facilities and even a real teapot.... Not to mind the wonderful views out the windows. I would like to complement the hotel on three things: 1. The interior design of the suite and of the entire hotel 2. The staff, who are extremely helpful, I would like to single out one person, and that is Noel the Concierge. He was just outstanding. He is an absolute asset to this hotel. Helpful and professional and is able to 'hit' the right tone and approach. Thank you Noel you made our stay even more enjoyable. 3. The outside space and the superb gardens. Ballygarry House can compete with any botanical gardens. Your garden designer is outstanding. All I can say is well done Ballygarry, you are up there with the best. If you did not have a large room, there are so many wonderful public spaces throughout the hotel that you can sit and relax. The interior design of the entire hotel should be complemented. You have created a rare, chic and relaxing atmosphere throughout. Thirdly, the outside space.....that space is just phenomenal. And all throughout these expansive gardens they have created seating areas, with tables and chairs, with benches, with deckchairs. When we visited the weather was not so good, so to enjoy these outside spaces we will just have to come back, right? The review is a bit longer than intended, but it is so nice when a hotel gets it so right. We will be back.

We had lunch at Ballygarry for my Dad’s 70th birthday and the food, service and staff were simply exceptional. Thys and his team continue to deliver the best customer service in Ireland with their attention to detail second to none. Our family have been coming here for 45 years, with three family weddings included and every time we come it simply gets better and better. We cannot recommend Ballygarry enough and we are already looking forward to our next trip back. 5 STARS ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

We returned for a family break this year having enjoyed it last year. And this year was even better. The bedroom with its bunk beds was a big hit and the food as excellent as ever. The main thing is that the staff seem much more interested in pleasing and talking with guests than keeping rules or looking busy, and that was everybody from the gardener to the manager. There was a local water cut during our stay and it was managed with generosity and grace. Well done, all!

My husband and I have just returned from Ballygarry House Hotel where we celebrating our belated 10th wedding anniversary. Whilst I visit Nadur spa a couple of times a year, it has been years since we spent a night in the hotel. We definitely won’t leave it so ling again! We got married in the Ballygarry in April 2011. Just like our wedding date, everything about our recent stay was perfect. The staff there really are the nicest, most courteous people in the hotel industry. Everyone from management to wait staff, to Nadur Spa staff are friendly, obliging and warm. As we walked past Pádraig McGillicuddy, who was in conversation with one of his staff, my husband and I both noted how genuinely kind and respectful he appeared and in return his staff are phenomenal ambassador’s for his wonderful hotel. We stayed in Room 5 which is a signature suite and it was fabulously luxurious and relaxing. We ate in both Restaurant 58 and The Brasserie and the food was divine. Restaurant 58 was especially lovely for a long awaited night away. I adore Nadur spa. It’s the ultimate relaxation spot topping most other spa’s I have ever visited. On this occasion the spa was booked out for hands on treatments so I booked the hydrotherapy bath which I really enjoyed. The ambience in the room was chilled and soothing. I would recommend Ballygarry House hotel to anyone. It really does keep on improving and the foundation of ensuring that guests have a truly enjoyable stay remains the same.
