My boyfriend and I stayed here this weekend just gone and from the minute we walked into reception we felt so welcome. Every single member of staff was so friendly, but so professional at the same time. This to me screams they work in a good environment which we experienced throughout our stay. We got to stay in the signature suite and we’re amazed at how clean and comfortable it was. I have allergies to quite a few things that makes going out or going away for a night difficult, and I’d be apprehensive always, but I left a note on my booking. The server at the restaurant knew already so I knew I was in safe hands. The options I had are far better than what I’ve experienced elsewhere, and was so delicious too! We used the spa and loved the facilities, our massages were amazing and the facilities were so relaxing and clean. I love that they had a face cleanser in the woman’s changing room! Before heading off we took advantage of the complimentary bikes and went to Ballyseedy woods, and then the actual Ballygarry estate. I am amazed at the initiatives, bee keeping, tree planting and preservations for the wildlife there. The Ballygarry story is a wonderful one and we really loved staying here. We only stayed one night but it’s our favourite hotel we’ve been to on a couples night away, and we’re already planning to come back to celebrate my boyfriends birthday! Thanks to all the staff at Ballygarry for the best weekend, especially Deirdre at reception! A few snaps of our food 😉…
My husband and I accompanied my parents (both Octogenarians) on a two night stay in Ballygarry House Hotel. All four of us were hugely impressed with the quality of the hotel, the friendliness of the welcome, the super-convenient location, the delicious food and the overall relaxed experience of staying in Ballygarry House Hotel. Both rooms were wonderfully appointed, easy to access and extremely comfortable. The food and drink available in The Brassiere were excellent on both nights, great value for money and the service was very friendly and efficient. The surrounding area offered plenty to see and do and so we were fully occupied on each day. We will definitely return very soon.
Just spent a fabulous weekend at my nephews wedding. Definitely this venue has the wow factor. Driving from the Entrance into the magnificent well tended gardens towards Reception, we left the Motorway behind and entered a luxurious Country facility. The scenery which includes views of the mountains and surrounding grassy areas was breathtaking, outdoor seating arranged so we could sit and admire same. The accommodation was very spacious, of a high standard , complimentary glass bottles of water supplied. I was delighted to have the makeup mirror in the bathroom which had a light. I enjoyed having several baths the voya products were lovely. Staff were attentive, appeared happy in their work, very helpful, there when we needed them , not intrusive. Household Staff have the place spotless. The wedding service was held onsite which was terrific as most guests had travelled a distance . The reception was held nearby in an area dedicated to such gatherings.. Beautiful decor and amazing ambience Of course having the weather 19 degrees and sunny was a blessing. It meant that drinks were served on the lawn and we could appreciate the lovely surroundings. Many beautiful photos were taken. The food was superb (only thing was I ate too much , had to lie down after for a short while) . . The following day the BBQ was held in the front area of the wedding venue the food was delicious, the accompanying salads very tasty. It’s a family owned business and the history is interesting to read through. We had a long walk yesterday in the nearby Ballyseedy woods , the smell of the wild garlic and the beautiful white flowers showing nature at its best. There are little sayings and stones with writing placed at intervals which children would like to see. There are complimentary bikes available at the hotel door. Unfortunately we didn’t get to avail of the facilities at the Nadúr Spa as time flew in. It looks fab and hopefully next time I might get to use the outdoor hot tub and have a facial. We had a very memorable weekend. Thank you Michelle and Ian for inviting us . Dan and Anne…
I would like to thank Noel the concierge for the the conversation and being genuinely lovely. He was so pleasant and it was wonderful to get his thoughts on different parts of Kerry. This hotel is without a doubt one of the best in Ireland.
Had a lovely, comfortable stay here. Hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Ellen on Reception was charming and particularly helpful to me. Food was delicious, bed very comfortable and the shower was lovely. The environmentally-friendly changes they're doing to the Estate are fantastsic. To be able to stay in a hotel like this so close to a major town is, I'm sure, a rarity.
