Just back from a glorious couple of days in Ballygarry Hotel. What a special place, with a really wonderful team of people. The younger teen staff are so well trained, and lovely to interact with. The weather being gorgeous meant the gardens were a joy to walk around. Everything about the experience was lovely, I look forward to returning.
Absolutely beautiful hotel, no faults! Great staff with a friendly atmosphere and special mention to the concierge who is an absolute gentleman. Highly recommend! Looking forward to a 2024 wedding with family!
Our first time at Ballygarry Estate and we thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. We spent two days touring Slea Head and Ballygarry was the perfect base. Pros: *Superb staff and attentive customer service. Particular shout out to Kay in the Bistro but all the staff were superb. *The grounds are magnificent. In particular the new Estate plan is brilliantly executed. We enjoyed walks and cycles through the trails, reading about their vision and plan and learning about all the wildlife that is now thriving in the meadows and wetlands. When the trail through the Ballyseedy Woods opens next year, it will be a magnificent addition to the hotel. *Ev chargers - other hotels take note! *A five star breakfast experience. *Very comfortable family room and beds. Cons *Very few! *The absence of a pool makes longer family visits difficult. We were fortunate with the weather and enjoyed lots of swims on the nearby fabulous beaches. *Food at the Bistro was okay - not amazing and restaurant 58 was closed both nights for private functions. Overall, Ballygarry is smashing it by making the very best of what they have and combining it with an innovative and inspiring ecologically driven Estate vision. Kudos to the management team, owners (3rd generation) and all the staff who have clearly bought into this vision. We are delighted to recommend and will visit again. …
It’s just gorgeous! The location is great and they have plenty of parking spaces available. The food was lovely and the service was incredible. We have dined here numerous times including when the restrictions lifted and they were very well organised and we felt very safe.
Stayed here for a few nights recently. From start to finish the service was top quality. The hotel and surrounding grounds are absolutely stunning. Noel in concierge is a wealth of knowledge and information. Perfect location just outside Tralee town. We ate in the brasserie and both the food and service was just amazing, thanks to Donal and team, special mention to Dylan who looked after us on the terrace, what a lovely young gent always had a smile and he couldn't do enough for us. Thanks Ballygarry, WE WILL BE BACK!!
Had a wonderful experience at the Ballygarry Hotel. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. They were also very helpful with luggage etc. The food in the restaurant was melt in the mouth and again service here was excellent and friendly. The weather was hot and sunny and the grounds looked beautiful with all the flowers. We will be back next again for sure. My mother was in a wheelchair but we were able to come and go easily as there were no little steps anywhere that would have made things difficult for me. Would really recommend this hotel.
Just back from amazing stay at Ballygarry Estate from 2nd until 5th August. This place is simply fabulous all round! Rooms are luxurious, food is mouthwatering and staff are exceptional! I would commend anyone considering a break in County Kerry to base themselves here...you will NOT better it...get it booked!
Beautiful hotel i feel like the only thing missing is a swimming pool would be lovely also we stayed in a suit which i thought should have a mini fridge so we could store our own drinks in and keep them cold, everything else was lovely we ate in the brasserie food was fab we used the bikes they had and the grounds are beautiful , pity it was missing the pool the grounds are definitely big enough for one
Another amazing visit to Ballygarry where friendly hospitality awaits you. Brought my two kids away for a mini staycation, stayed in a wonderful family room with bunk beds, designed with comfort in mind, they loved it. Dined in the Brasserie on one night and it was delicious. Took the bikes out to Ballyseedy Woods which is close by, and also took a ramble around the wonderful woodland walk through the Estate. Overall a visit to Ballygarry is a must where everything is on your doorstep. This is a deluxe 4* hotel. Special thanks to Marie, Thys and Shauna and all of the wonderful staff that looked after us throughout our stay.
Just returned from a marvellous experience in this hotel. First class accommodation, first class food and drink, very friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff in all departments. Such a delight to feel genuinely welcome and to relax in such excellent surroundings. Very nice public areas to sit and read, really good walking route in the estate grounds, fairly close to Tralee itself and an ideal launch pad to visit a range of brilliant beaches. Congratulations to management and staff and this is now our number one port of call when visiting this area.
