This was a return one night visit, booked based on price, location and ample free parking. Hotel is close to Tralee town centre and all staff were friendly and professional, particular call out to the lady at reception. The bedrooms with the bay windows are spacious and comfortable. The room had everything I needed including an iron albeit a room safe would have been good, particularly for overseas travellers. The bed was very comfortable and everywhere was clean. The corridors and room furniture are a little dated and there were no power sockets close to the bed to charge phones. Also, the soundproofing could be better to block out noise from the corridors. Breakfast choice was a bit limited with no cook to order options or pastries available but the quality of the buffet food was good. I did not use the bar on this occasion or the leisure centre. Overall, the hotel has good facilities and represented good value for money

Stayed on a Saturday 1st April. Parked our cars in a very spacious car park to rear of hotel. Three rooms a double and a two twins. Check in was very quick & efficient - staff were both courteous and helpful. Double room had both a double and a single bed. fully furnished as you would expect in a hotel room and very clean. Visited the bar in the evening which was very busy but had quite a number of staff which ensured there was no waiting for service. The bar was also where food was served from a comprehensive menu with prices being reasonable. Food was very satisfactory - six of us were served and no one had any complaints about the quality of the food. Breakfast buffet next morning was in a very large dining room which we had at 7.15 am. The normal buffet but all items were very good. Plenty of staff and no delays on the normal tea/coffee table service As we had prepaid checkout was just a matter of handing in the key.
To summarise: This is not a luxury hotel nor is at a basic hotel. It is an excellent standard hotel. Staff were plentiful at all times and were friendly, helpful and good at their job. Location is excellent - just a few minutes walk from the town centre. The entire hotel was spotless. In spite of all the above good points we did have one gripe. The rooms are NOT sound proof. We could hear movement and muffled conversation from the room next door. This did not keep us awake but nevertheless took away from what was otherwise an excellent room. The management should do something about this and if they did we would give it a 10 out of 10. I would also point out that this hotel has good some very bad reviews and we can categorically say they are totally unjustified. Go and stay and you will be very satisfied.

The hotel was nice and clean though the furnishing are quite tired. The room had twin beds and was adequate size. They do need to add a hook or ring for a hand towel and more plugs or USB ports. The elevator was quite small and slow. Saturday morning at 11:00am (check out time) the restaurant was not serving a hot breakfast or lunch and the regular hotel breakfast had closed at 10:00am. The servers at the restaurant could not tell us any other place in town where we could get a meal. The location was excellent for us since it was right across the street from the Siamsa Tíre which was the theatre where we were attending an evening show. I would stay there again for that reason.

Arrived 18/10 Rooms are freezing. Contacted reception they sent up a little oil heater that turns off every few minutes. Mould on walls. Only 2 sockets in the room so you can have heat and tv or phone!
Kettle in room you have to put on floor to boil as the socket is low to the ground. I am ment to stay 2 nights but I will be going after 1. This is the worst hotel I have visited and would never come back . It looks lovely on the website but when you get here it doesn’t look anything like the pictures.

The room was tiny one , included 2 small beds .
The barroom had very small bathtube .The shower head has no pipe.
The hotel is very old one .
The hotel stays in the center of the little town ,not far away from Value Store .
My feelong is that the hotel was chosen , cause of being the cheapest one .

I stayed on business for two nights midweek. check-in was easy and friendly. However, the covid shield was still in place over reception, which I found uncomfortable.

Meals in the bar were good, first night staff were friendly, helpful, and experienced but with different staff the following night I did not enjoy the experience as much. I was on my own as I was waiting to be seated. I was asked if I was a driver, tour guide, or guest? The different floor staff ware being shouted instructions from the bar manager about where to seat the guests, although the restaurant was busy I was brought to a pillar with a mirror on it with a small area for food and I told the wait staff that I would order a drink and sit at the bar while waiting for a table. While I was at the bar, I was not approached for service. I found my own table and requested a menu. Staff were very unhelpful due to their inexperience, unlike the staff the previous night. I found the room comfortable and quiet but a little dated and no sockets beside the bed to accommodate a medical device I use. I decided not to have breakfast on either mornings although it was included in my booking due to the bus loads of other guests congregating in the restaurant and reception area.

Stayed here for 3 nights recently whilst on a coach trip to Ireland. Hotel is ideally situated as in the town with many bars, shops and restaurants.
The rooms are clean and tidy but old fashioned. Beds are comfy but pillows really hard.
The food was average, some vegetables very undercooked and hard. We had same dessert on 2 of the 3 evenings at dinner which was disappointing. The breakfasts were disappointing too as only bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, no mushrooms to.atoes or hash browns. Some of us asked for fruit to go with the cereals but we're told " oh no the coach parties can't have fruit, thats for the other guests." We were disappointed that room service was not great, no toilet rolls replaced or shower gel so we had to phone reception to request them. Staff were very pleasant.

Where do i start? Checked in 2 rooms one for my husband and myself and the other for my 12 and 13 year old. However the rooms were at opposite ends of the corridor even though i had rang after booking requsting nter connecting rooms but i was told there were none but we have rooms side by side. However we rang reception and advised we werent comfortable with the distance so we were moved then to much smaller rooms but accommodated so no issues. Next we then had dinner in the bar which was extremely over priced for what we got. eg. 17.95 for roast beef dinner. Nice but nothing special. My kids had soup for starters with 2 slices of brown bread each. when my son was buttering his 2nd slice i noticed the bread was very mouldy as was my daughters after checking hers. When i showed the waiter he apologised and told me he would leave a note with reception in case they got sick. On top of this the wrong drinks were brought to the table twice and when i went to the bar to ask a waiter to serve us a drink as nobody came near us to ask us if we wanted one he followed me to the table with the card machine. we paid the meal(minus the soup) a gesture from the waiter but i asked if we looked dodgy as we hadnt requsted the bill and he said that he had a few stories??. Next we almost froze in the rooms. i requsted a heater but none were available so the itchiest blankets were sent to our room instead. (My mother used to have them in tbe 80s). I have never written a negative review before as i feel the hospitality sector is such a tough game but for E654.00 for 3 nights room only the hotel needs to up its standards. There were 3 lots of people giving out to staff when i went to the ladies at one stage. This is not my style but i strongly feel i shouldnt be taken for a fool either. Positive point. The Leisure centre staff were very helpful and friendly

Thank you for taking the time to write to us. It is with enthusiasm that we read your review as we appreciate all feedback from our valued guests. A full investigation into the circumstance of your stay were carried out. We endeavoured to honour your request for adjacent rooms with your specific bedding requirements. Due to in-house guests extending their stay we were unable to facilitate your original request, this is why we do not confirm room allocations prior to arrival. However after discussions with our reception staff on your arrival we facilitated your request with adjacent rooms. We do not supply heaters in the summer season especially during heatwave periods, however we do supply fresh fleece blankets on request. Our Bar menu is probably one of the most extensive in Ireland with a wide range of choice, competitive pricing and generous portions. The quality of our roast is second to none and all of our products are freshly delivered each day. We pride ourselves on our young friendly staff who are eager and willing to please despite how busy the hotel maybe with staycationers. It is rewarding to us that the majority of our guests are happy and content with all our facilities and services we have to offer for a 3 Star Hotel which includes a fully equipped gym, pool, sauna, Jacuzzi & steamroom along with secure parking, WiFi and town centre location at no extra cost to our guests at a competitive price. Again we thank you for your review and we will pass on your compliments to our staff.

Staff all lovely, hotel in parts is dated. Breakfast is extremely basic for a hotel and needs improvement. No poached eggs, fruit, crossaints etc. I have stayed in other hotels where items have been wrapped individually or fruit pots given as i am not fond of a hot breakfast. No sign to say porridge available although i saw someone get this on our last morning. Only juice on display was orange juice, no water displayed. Very limited for vegetarians. Asked for nutella for daughters toast, they didnt have this. Bar food was nice and service was quick, not an extensive menu so we only dined here one night. Parking and location were good. Pool was easy to get booking, sauna jacquzzi etc were nice although lockers are needed in changing rooms as you need to leave your stuff on a bench which obviously isnt ideal. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly

Thank you for your review. Due to covid regulations we are limited in our buffet selection but if anything is requested we do our best to facilitate and since your review, we have taken on board some of these issues and corrected them. There are lockers available for all personal belongings in the leisure centre, we are sorry you were not aware of this. We hope to see you again soon.
