Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely, peaceful environment, not far from the centre of Tralee, with wonderful hosts. If , like us, you have trouble finding how to get here, Google Ballygarry House Hotel, which is within a hundred metres of Cois Li.

I cannot say enough nice things about our stay at Cois Li B&B! It is immaculately clean, the beds in our room were very comfortable and cozy, the breakfast was great and the front and back gardens are maintained so beautifully, they were wonderful to enjoy. Josephine (the owner) was so kind to us. My children didn't want to leave! I would highly recommend this B&B and will definitely stay again if ever back in the area.

We stayed there as a couple for one night. We were warmly welcomed by Josephine and Tom. The rooms are very beautifull and fully equiped. Everything is in very good state and tidy. The breakfast is great. I loved the pancakes. There is a nice forest trail next to the house.

We booked 3 rooms on August 9th to attend a family wedding in The Ballygarry House Hotel. We could not have been happier with our choice, the bedrooms have every facility a hotel has and were spotless, including the bathrooms, the guesthouse is literally a minute walk o the Ballygarry house, down a short lane, which was well lit! The Breakfast was better than any cooked breakfast we ve had in any hotel that we stayed in and the proprietors were welcoming and friendly ! Its a short distance from Tralee town and would be an ideal place to spend a couple of nights if touring Kerry! Have to mention the decor of the rooms and bathrooms are really pretty and rooms are very spacious, also the black pudding was fab! There is plenty of info and literature available about local attractions etc in the hallway of the guesthouse.

What a fabulous B&B; immaculately clean, beautifully presented and set in lovely, well kept gardens. Just a short drive to Tralee town centre or a short stroll along the quiet road for a good restaurant. This is a great base for all the scenic drives of the area. There is a wooded walk just along the road too.
Thank you so much Josephine & Tom for helping to make the Kerry part of our Ireland tour so memorable.

Knowing that the Cois Li was near the Ballygarry Hotel, we had little trouble finding it just down the lane. Tom welcomed us heartily and showed the three of us to our spotless rooms, which were decorarted cheerfully and tastefully in jewel colors. We walked the short distance to the Ballygarry Hotel Bar (unlike other reviewers, we did not attend any wedding there! The cuisine had been recommended by a friend in Killarney.) The beds in our large room were extremely comfortable. We met Josephine the next morning and she sent us on our way to Bunratty after providing us with a delicious and substantial breakfast. We especially liked the black pudding, but everything was tasty. We were grateful for a quite night's sleep at the edge of the country.

We stayed here overnight when we were attending a family wedding in a nearby hotel. It was perfect Josephene is for sure the hostess with the mostess ;) She was so warm and welcoming. The room was small but spotless and perfect for an overnight stay and breakfast was bang on especially the hoe made brown bread. Its a great B & B with an even better price tag.

I recently stayed here with friends for a wedding we were attending at the Ballygarry Hotel. The B&B's hosts were very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were lovely and very clean, also peaceful location and beds very comfy. Breakfast was great, fruit juice, cereal, full Irish with toast plus tea or coffee. Our stay was superb.
