Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Arrived at Tralee Bay Holiday Village, and we were so pleasantly surprised. The holiday home was even nicer than we expected. Everything was clean, and the rooms, lounge area and kitchen were beyond our expectations, and we had a beautiful view of the ocean! We stayed for 7 nights (husband, myself and 7 yr old son). Perfect place to tour Dingle Bay and the Ring of Kerry. We had an absolutely amazing holiday! The pub on the property is fantastic, food was excellent, and the atmosphere was brilliant. Our 7 yr old had an absolute ball the nights we spent there. They even had free face painting and tattoos, and live music on Monday and Wednesday night. Overall I would highly recommend Tralee Bay Holiday Village to everyone. Barrie was an absolute pleasure to deal with and so accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Stayed in 2 bed this time and just as happy. New patio and decking area out the front with fantastic views of the ocean. Food as good as ever in the Hogs for adults and kids. Craic as good as ever in the Bar with excellent new staff. Easily the best place to stay for a family with kids. Will be back.....again!

Enjoyed every minute of our stay here..the holiday homes were outstanding and accommodated our family of seven easily. Rooms are spacious and include ensuites, kitchen well kitted out with all the mod cons, a lovely welcome pack laid out which was really appreciated having arrived very late at the property and impeccably clean and tidy. The area itself athough quiet, was just beautiful overlooking the sea. The on site bar/restaurant was also very welcoming and we enjoyed a wonderful family meal here..very accommodating towards our two kids who have severe nut allergies, nothing was a bother and this was very much appreciated. Barrie the proprietor was a complete gentleman, was very attentive and was able to recommend different things we could do on our visit. I couldnt recommend this place enough, hope to return again next year. Thanks Barrie and the team.

Stayed for 5 days at the start of June with 3 adults and 3 children. Cottage was spacious and well equipped though as we had a week of wall to wall blue skies and sunshine, we didn't spend a lot of time inside. Great having three bathrooms in the property and they wi-fi kept the teens happy. Beautiful beach just 350 metres away and lots to do in the area. Barrie recommended the walk around Glenteenassig lake which has a boardwalk circling the entire lake meaning even my 80 year old dad found it easy going. Ate a couple of nights at the pub. Menu is limited but all the food was very well cooked and all the staff very friendly and helpful. Also ate at Spillanes in Castlegregory which had great food and serves 99 ice creams for dessert at a very reasonable price of £1.72. We ate them outside on the beach on a glorious sunny evening. The views were stunning. Overall felt we had really good value for money at this accommodation and would happily stay again.

Very well equipped holiday house, comfortable and located in a perfect spot for Dingle Pennisula exploration. Very close to the beach. Local pub was fantastic. The staff was lovely. The house however could have been cleaner.

A great place for us a family to reconnect. The house had most things you would expect, basic and well presented. Surprised there were no towels, not something as international travellers we bring with us. Limited toiletries. A welcome basket would be good given shops and weather sometimes meant getting out was a tad more difficult. Couldn't fault the house, go across the Connor pass, drive around slea head, enjoy the views, stock up at Supervalue in a Dingle, light a fire and life is sweet!

My family and I really enjoyed staying in the house at the front of the village. Great views of Tralee bay, very good bar and restaurant 3 doors away. The kitchen had more that you would need to cook at home. It is about 5 mins outside of Castlegregory but its actually a nice touch as its quite. Barrie the owner was always on hand if there was any questions. We would stay there again no problem at all. Booked it on the basis of the reviews by trip advisor so felt we should add to the good advice.

For the past three years we have spent a week each June in Tralee Bay Holiday Homes as we enjoy it so much. It is an ideal touring base for visiting Dingle, Dingle Peninsula, Slea Head Drive,Inch Strand and Tralee. There are a number of fabulous beaches within 2 minutes from the property while the nearby woods offer a fabulous lake-side walk ( approximately 1 km) which offers a number of picnic areas and is ideal for young and old alike. There is a playground located within 5 minutes drive of the properties. The properties themselves are immaculately clean, comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. Barrie, the manager, is so accommodating and helpful. The Seven Hogs Restaurant is located next door and offers a fabulous selection of food. I highly recommend Tralee Bay Holiday Homes and we are already looking forward to next year's visit!! Kay Ronan & Family, Skibbereen
