Our stay at the townhouse was great. Rooms are modern and very clean. The beds are comfortable. Michael the owner was very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect in town near all the shops, pubs and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a lovely stay.
Stayed 1 night as was booked up following night - what a lovely clean & friendly little place to stay in heart of Tralee. Michael the manager a very dry & funny host, Manager, receptionist, cook, waiter - like Peter Kay from the Services! - but lovely place to stay. Superb Brekfasts too in nice suroundings We stayed at a 4 star hotel next night for double the price, but experience not s good as Tralee townhouse
the general meneger michael cancelled my booking for double checking just. he said that I was annoying.and i was giving bad vibe. I will share this experience with everyone I know. thanks a lot for this experience.
We only stayed at the townhouse for one night as we were driving up to Limerick early in the morning and we were happy with the place and it was lovely. The manager arranged to meet us at the hotel as we were running late. We had a great breakfast the next morning with a good selection of food to choose from. The room was small but comfortable with a good WiFi connection and a kettle for tea and coffee. Our only problem was the light in the bathroom was on a sensor so we could not switch off manually and it was coming on in the middle of the night.
Reception / Welcome: Although, check in was only after 2 o'clock and we arrived earlier than that, they provided sufficient information, what we needed to do (call 10' earlier). We could put down our luggage and go to enjoy the city. The receptionist was friendly and offered all the answers we needed. Location: Close enough to tha train station, not in the city center, but close to - everything was in walking distance. Room: Asked for two beds - provided. Spatious enough for two people, who want to sleep there and clean. Also, during our whole stay, this was the only accommodation, where instead of the duvet we had the bed covers (it was hot durig our stay). Unfortunately, the lighting in the bathroom was movement activated, which meant that if we went in, the lights turned on and the ventilation and stopped later. So if one of us went out to the toilet, the lights and the noise woke the other up.…
The Tralee Townhouse is excellent! Good price, easy to book and right beside the Garda so felt very safe. I stayed for 1 night as attending a wedding. Easy to find and Michael was very accommodating. Room not quite ready when I arrived early at midday but Michael allowed me to leave my bags and it gave me a great opportunity to explore the town and do the Tralee canal walk out to blennerville windmill which was stunning! Great room (33) which I think had recently been refurbished and everything looked and smelt new and fresh. Thoughtful decor with lighting and iron built into the desk. Clean and basic which was perfect, would definitely stay again!
The room was neat and tidy with nice modern fixtures, I was surprised at how nicely kitted out it was for the price. You can tell care and consideration went into the room layout and the placement of lights, plug sockets etc. Room had everything you need and everything worked well. Didn't try the breakfast but enjoyed having a kettle and coffee in the room. Very nice place and the manager is friendly and accommodating.
Perfectly situated in the centre of the town, within walking distance of all amenities, the Tralee Townhouse is an ideal location to base your travels. For families on a budget, like ourselves it was the perfect choice. Michael runs a tight ship and is very efficient in looking after all the guest's needs. Parking is limited but it's easy to find overnight spaces within the vicinity. Two thumbs and toes up from us!
From the first phone call with Micheal this has been a great experience. We were checking in late and Michael accomdated with no issues at all. The room was nice and warm when I got there, clean and all spot on. Checked out at 11 and had a great chat with Michael about the negative reviews. for what your paying and he does highlight this as 'budget' what do people expect, a butler waiting on them, gold taps and caviar awaiting them on arrival. Sometimes I wonder how we allow these type of people outside their front doors. Anywho Michael thank you so much and if we are back in Tralee I certainly will be booking with you. thanks Tony
We had a lovely stay here on our visit to Tralee, our room was clean and modern and the building is very well located for enjoying all Tralee has to offer. Michael is a wonderful host and cooks an amazing breakfast, he is an absolute gem of a man. We look forward to staying here again.
