Detailed Reviews
We were 2 couples on a cycling tour and stayed in Benners. We could not fault the hotel at all. They looked after our bikes when we arrived and also had accepted our rucksack well before check-in to allow us to cycle baggage free. The breakfast was delicious, and there was lots of options. Rooms are perfect for what we needed and I would happily return. Thanks to Pauline for all her help.

Stayed in Benners hotel Tralee. 1st room had a noisy bathroom extract fan, notified reception, immediately had response and changed room, with a complimentary drink in bar. Fabulous meal in gastro pub, great selection and understanding of needs of coeliac diet. Well done Sarah and her team, amazing dinner

We stopped off here for 1 night while travelling the west coast from cork back up North. It was booked last minute. From we walked in til we walked out I honestly can't say one bad thing about this hotel. Pauline on check-in was so pleasant and friendly. She got us booked in for dinner. She even went out of her way to give us a wee tour of the hotel while we waited on our food. She also helped and gave us tips on our next few destinations. The other lady at dinner I'm sorry I didn't get her name was brilliant as I'm a very plain fussy eater she advised me on the menu. The bar staff were all very friendly and enjoyed a wee bit of craic (also the best cocktail) It's just a pity we were there during the covid-19 as it would have been lovely to experience the music in the bar and enjoy the atmosphere outside. The rooms were clean, bright and spacious. I will definitely return here and recommend this hotel to anyone.

Recently had a christening at Benners hotel . So I booked the venue start of December with the events manager date and price agreed on. I had to phone 4/5 different times a week or so ahead of christening to reach events manager who seemed always unavailable to take a call , to make sure every thing was in order , finally getting threw to her, Response I got was “ that was cancelled “ no I didn’t cancel anything they clearly never put us in there book , anyway venue still happend to be available . Which was ok , so arrived on day of christened, now I was quoted 500 euro for food for 50 people , no problem , what we got on the day was approx 50 euro worth chips sausages and couple bits of chicken , absolutely appalling for money I’d given. I was mortified, I didn’t even eat at the christening to spare food for my family and friends that attended . The food we received wouldn’t feed 15 people . By the end they Wer taking baskets of chips off some tables to give other tables jus to rub salt into wounds . I was clearly robbed by Benners hotel . Not one bit happy . Although the layout of room itself was nice, food brought it down so much , I got many complaints from my guests about it . Strongly not reccomend.

We stayed for one night and cannot recommend it enough! The hotel is just beautiful, the atmosphere and decor was really great with fairy lights and greenery it’s so welcoming, the food was gorgeous, the drinks were too and most of all the staff were so lovely from check in to the restaurant to the back bar to the front bar to breakfast to check out again. If you want a lively night there was a dj in the back bar and if you prefer a more relaxed evening the front bar had trad music. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The reception area is lovely. The location is perfect 5 mins walk from the train station and in the town with a local convenience store next door. Can’t wait to go back!

Unfortunately it’s not the first time I have had a negative experience in Benners Hotel Tralee. After the first time I thought to give it a second chance but after this time I will not be returning.
The Manager/staff are unfriendly and made it very clear that they have an issue with young children on their premises. We are respectful polite individuals who are paying customers regardless of having children or not. Each visit we made sure we sat in a space where we would not be interfering with anyone else yet still their seemed to be an issue.
We were told to leave and made faces and comments at by the staff for having young children with us.
Honestly it’s disgraceful and clearly a none friendly children business. Such a lovely Hotel with such rude staff so unfortunate! Would not recommend.

My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights on a recent staycation in Kerry. Our experience at the hotel was nothing short of perfect from the moment we arrived. Eleanor made our check in quick and easy and gave us some great recommendations for our stay in Tralee. Every staff member we had an encounter with were so friendly and so helpful they were all so lovely. The hotel itself is very clean and stylish and our twin room that consisted of a double and a single bed was very spacious and clean. We ate in the bar the first night and it was by far the best meal of our trip I highly recommend checking it out. Overall we absolutely loved our stay at Benners and would not hesitate to come back for a future visit.

We stayed here for one night as we were attending a birthday party being held there . From checking in to checking out we had a wonderful stay . Staff at reception were really friendly. Our room was clean with a comfortable bed , hairdryer, iron and a bottle of still and sparkling water . On the hotel website it showed the bathroom to have an over bath shower but on arrival I was delighted to see a modern , refurbished bathroom with a walk in shower 😊. The only downside was that the shower itself wasn’t very powerful and turned off a couple of times , but it was fine . Breakfast was very good with a buffet counter and all the cooked foods were fresh and hot . Scrambled eggs were excellent as was the coffee! There was also a choice of eggs Benedict etc from a menu . Also the food at the party was outstanding and they just kept bringing more and more food ! The bar staff were all friendly too ! For a hotel in the middle of a busy street it was so quiet and we slept soundly . Can’t rate this hotel high enough and we will definitely stay here again

Just back from a fantastic stay in Benners Hotel for a hen party. From my first enquiry about organising the stay and speaking to Hannah and Elaine, the hotel were nothing short of fantastic. They put together a great package for us. As soon as we arrived everyone was so impressed with the decor and ambiance of the hotel and the friendliness of all the staff.
We had finger food booked and it was absolutely delicious, some of the nicest finger food I've ever been given, really great chicken wings, chunks of brie and wedges and chips.
We had dinner booked as well and again it was so tasty and the portions were a great size. A lot of us also went for some of the really lovely cocktails from the extensive choice. The area we were dining in was really pretty as well, lots of fairylights!!
Thanks so much to Sarah and the team who were looking after us, they really went above and beyond for anything we needed.
Breakfast the following morning had such a great selection and was really good!!
I would definitely recommend staying here in Benners again! All of the staff who we met were absolutely wonderful and really made the hen's night very special. Thanks again to the whole team! :)

Myself and my wife stayed here for 3 nights and I have to say it was absolutely lovely. Pauline is an absolute gem and a great asset to this hotel . She was so helpful and friendly and nothing was to much trouble . The hotel itself is absolutely spotlessly clean from room to reception. There is an outside seating area that also has a very quirky area called mollys with some lovely vintage furniture. Although this hotel doesn’t have its own car park you can park in the church car park which is next door. So all in all we would definitely recommend this hotel and we will definitely be back .

Hi Kieran,
There is an another car park to the right of us which is a public car park. parking there isn't a problem. The greyhound bar is only 600 meters from the hotel so it is walking distance. If we can assist you anymore with your stay please don't hesitate to ask.
Kind Regards,
Claire, Reservations
Yes Indeed there is a local pub called Baileys Corner only a few doors down from us which does great live music
