We were 2 couples on a cycling tour and stayed in Benners. We could not fault the hotel at all. They looked after our bikes when we arrived and also had accepted our rucksack well before check-in to allow us to cycle baggage free. The breakfast was delicious, and there was lots of options. Rooms are perfect for what we needed and I would happily return. Thanks to Pauline for all her help.

The rooms are a bit dated and the pillows were not great, however I have heard there is a refurb on the cards. Very central place to stay everything within walking distance which is a plus. There is a great courtyard with plenty of space to sit outside. Food are large portions and very nice indeed, Highlight were the staff, unbelievable, the best we have encountered anywhere we stayed before. Massive shout out to Pauline in reception, Elaine in restaurant and Mark in the bar, you could not have looked after us any better than you did, thank you so much, from the two girls from Cork. Will definitely be back.

Myself and my wife stayed here for 3 nights and I have to say it was absolutely lovely. Pauline is an absolute gem and a great asset to this hotel . She was so helpful and friendly and nothing was to much trouble . The hotel itself is absolutely spotlessly clean from room to reception. There is an outside seating area that also has a very quirky area called mollys with some lovely vintage furniture. Although this hotel doesn’t have its own car park you can park in the church car park which is next door. So all in all we would definitely recommend this hotel and we will definitely be back .

Stayed here for a wedding that was on nearby. This is a Lovely, comfortable, hotel. Everything was excellent, staff were attentive. Breakfast was lovely. Would definitely recommend. A good, typical old style Irish hotel, a lot to be said for it.

Will start with the positives, breakfast was excellent and service superb!! Had dinner the 1st night in bar food was ok, however loved the drink selection and the service was warm and friendly. Negative is the room and the upstairs interior. The carpet in our room had stains, there was dust on lamps and shelves, the place didn’t feel fully cleaned, pillow cases were inside out and there was lots of hair stuck to pillow from a previous guest. The room could do with a total revamp, from the dated curtains to the decor. I understand it is a 3 star hotel but a clean comfortable room is to be expected. The bathroom door had small dents in it and the tiles were chipped, there was also a toilet brush that was not clean!! I rarely leave negative reviews so would like to justify my reasons but also state, the hotel is in the centre of town, prime location and the breakfast is excellent.
