My friends and I visited Scott’s bar last weekend. We were very disappointed with our experience. We had made a reservation 7 days previous to our booking, however on arrival the staff made us feel quite unwelcome (on various occasions) placing us on a 4 seated table when there was 6 of us on the booking. Previous to this experience I have had wonderful nights in Scotts bar, however this time was very disappointing.

I had the pleasure of spending 3 nights in Scotts Hotel in mid September with a group of golfers. I would have the height of praise for the management staff who were excellent. The service was first class, always with a smile and the staff could not do enough for us. All round it was one of the best mid week breaks I've ever had. Also great value with excellent food and drink. Great location with underground free parking.

Nice bar, staff attentive. We were in Killarney for one rainy day and night before we moved on somewhere else. Made the mistake of ordering food. Was dreadful. I though Weatherspoons in the UK was rubbish...God. I ordered cottage pie and chips. No taste whatsoever off the pie and the chips burnt to a crisp as attached. Why did I eat them? I was starving as had spent a rainy Tuesday in Killarney with not much open for business/dead and I know what happens to food when you send it back... In Killarney again?? Drinks, yes, food, hell no.

Stayed in this fab hotel with a group of friends for a weekend away. Couldn't fault the room whatsoever. Our room was so spacious and clean. The staff were incredible too, so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was beautiful. 10/10.
