A few of my friends & I went to Scotts Hotel and stayed in their 2 bed room apartment. The apartments sleeps up to 5 people and are very spacious and well equipped. It was great that they provided complimentary car parking for us all. Rose was so helpful when organising our trip, she organised a dinner in The Courtyard Restaurant for us. It was 4 course for only €35 per person and they had a lovely quaint bar just off the restaurant. They was a band playing outside in their street, which created a lovely atmosphere and they was ample seating so you could sit back and relax. The hotel is in the Killarney town centre but you actually don't feel like your right in the town, it was a very relaxed break and great to catch up with friends I haven't seen in ages. We opt for breakfast on both morning- this was extra for apartment guests as we were on self catering. They had a pre booking system which was ideal as they were no waiting or ques. The breakfast bar had a great selection of breads, meats, cereals and cheeses The cooked to order breakfast was delicious. Compliments to the chef on both our lovely dinner and breakfast. I would have no hesitation in recommending Scotts for location, staff and service.…
Very enjoyable stay at Scotts from the moment we arrived with the great addition of having its own carpark for a town center hotel with the lift up to the door. We were made feel very welcome and at home by the lady at reception . The room was clean and very comfortable ideal for our two night midweek stay. The bar staff were lovely and helpful and its a great bar with a great range of drinks . We also had the soup of the bar menu and top marks. We did not have dinner in the hotel but we had breakfast both mornings and its one of the best breakfasts we have had in a good while. The staff yet again were excellent. This is now our go-to hotel from now on in Killarney as we have stayed in many different hotels in Killarney and this is the best all rounder for us. with the great service , location and the carpark . Thanks again we will hopefully see you all again next year.…
Great hotel! Food was delicious & the atmosphere was so fun. The service was excellent, especially from Ardit- he even realized I left my sunglasses behind at the bar and returned them promptly the next morning. I'll definitely be returning!
My friends and I went from London for a weekend to Killarney where we had a good time. Once we were to your hotel we checked in with the receptionist Alla whose was great and kind. The first night we had dinner in the bar, there was a bit of confusion, the second night we had dinner in the restaurant where we met Ardito the manager, he made our weekend so special, he was very kind, an asset to your hotel. Thanks Ardito. The food has been good. The only complain we had is that we were unable to sleep from the noise in the corridor.
Went to Scott’s on both Friday and Saturday nights great atmosphere great music and the staff were very friendly especially John O Sullivan who looked after us with great seats . We also had food which was excellent .
We recently stayed at this hotel for 1 night. We booked last minute and paid €110 including breakfast which was a great price (free parking also). The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and veey clean, bathroom looked recently refurbished. We had drinks in the hotel bar and the courtyard and theyy had live music also. We paid €5pp extra to have breakfast delivered to our room the following morning also and it arrived ontime and was a lovely treat. I would say if you are going there for a relaxing break or a good night sleeo then stay else where as there is lots of noise between music and guests returning from their night out (popular with hens and stags) and having drinks in their rooms, didn't bother us to be honest as we were there for a night out also but i wouldn't be staying with young kids. Overall a really nice hotel.…

Had an an amazing stay in Scott's hotel The ladies in reception were helpful and polite considering they were so busy booking groups in. We had a wonderful room plenty of space and clean. Breakfast went down a treat 😊well done to all involved. Making it safe in these trying times.
Scott’s hotel is nice. The lobby, bar and restaurant are well maintained. The hotel is very central. They have free customer parking underground which is a fantastic bonus. Before checking in my husband and I had lunch in the bar. It was ok, nothing special. I had a toasted sandwich with chips and he had a pizza which he left most of it behind (we do not recommend the pizza). Breakfast the next morning was nice. It was served within 5 minutes of ordering so I assume it was kept on hot plates in the kitchen. The breakfast servers couldn’t have done more - excellent service. Some staff staff wore masks, other didn’t. Obviously with new regulations this is fine but I wanted to point it out in case there are any high risk people who want to know. The staff were efficient and provided a good service. We had a quick and friendly check in. No small talk, just straight to it. The staff behind reception were all wearing masks at the time of our check-in. On entering our room it looked nice. It was very spacious. The bathroom seemed to have been refurbished and the shower pressure was excellent. Despite turning up the heat, our room was cold. When I mentioned it to reception they were able to get an additional heater which I appreciated. I still slept with an extra jumper on as they turn off the main heat at night and the small additional heater wasn’t enough on its own. Unfortunately the room was not cleaned very well - there were hairs on the facecloth, dust on the lockers, dead bugs on the window and stains on the curtains (drink stains?). As I am pregnant, I went to bed early (around 10) however there was a very loud band playing outside. When booking we did not know that this would be happening. When my husband emailed them about breakfast before our arrival he mentioned that I was pregnant so they were aware of this and didn’t mention the loud music or think to put us in a quiet corner of the hotel- No forward thinking evident here!! When I called reception she informed me it would be over at 11 and offered to move me to another room but at that stage I was too tired. In fairness she was very kind and understanding. As promised the music stopped. However around 1/2am the noise in the corridors started with people shouting, talking, banging on doors, etc after their night out. I understand that this is out of their control but it felt like our whole floor was a party floor and I wondered is Scott’s the hotel to book of you are young and want to go out for a good time? A hotel for a hen or a stag? It certainly wasn’t a relaxing experience for me and I did not sleep well. And for all these reasons, I feel the room was overpriced. We paid €170 and I think that it’s only worth €120 max. Would I stay here again? I suppose if I was going out on the town for the night it would be an ideal location but for my current circumstances, no. I woke up feeling shattered…
We stayed here for one night the staff was great very helpful the room we got was 311 but we were moved as no heater in bathroom it was ice cold moved to 105 beautiful room but was woken up in the early hours from people in room next to ours shouting out in the hall couldn't get back to sleep got up next morning for breakfast to open our bedroom door to find drugs dropped out in hall as I said to manager if a child picked it up and swallowed it I would never stay here again its certainly not a four star hotel the manager refunded half our bill but to be far you go away for a break to relax we were more tired leaving and having a three hour drive home also the manager said he would give us a discount next time we stayed I replied and said no thank you but killarney its self is beautiful place…
