Carriglea House is a wonderful working farm and family B & B. The location is beautiful with a view of the lake and countryside. It is a great base to explore the Ring of Kerry and Killarney Area. We were a group of six and had the carriage house to ourselves. Our rooms were spacious as were the bathrooms (a...

The Carriglea house is just what I envisioned a beautiful b&b to look like. The rooms were clean and extremely comfortable. The horse and donkey on the farm added charm. Beautiful grounds with a lake view ideally located next to many local attractions. Eileen is a true Irish gem who made our stay the best!

Wow. This was by far the best b&b we stayed at in Ireland. Eileen is great. The house is wonderful. We used it as a base for trips to Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula and Gap of Dunloe. The breakfasts were quite tasty and Eileen's bread is divine. Eileen was very helpful in lining up a trip to Skellig Michael...

The Carriglea House B&B is highly recommended. Eileen is gracious and charming. The house and rooms are beautifully decorated with antiques. The location is excellent for visiting local attractions. By far one of the best places that we have ever stayed at.

The Carriglea House B&B is the ideal place to take a break from the modern world. The rooms are well kept, spacious and with good sized showers. John and Eileen are wonderful hosts and the breakfasts are delicious. If you need anything, just ask and someone will get it for you. This working farm is very "green" (environmentally friendly) and...

We recently had the pleasure to stay at this wonderful establishment. My mother had stayed her 40 years previously and wrote in her journal that it was a "must do" if we ever got to Ireland. She would be so proud...we made the trip and the place was more than we could have hoped for. Eileen was absolutely wonderful to...

My fiancé and I spent two nights here. It is the perfect blend of farm house charm with all the amenities you need when traveling. Eileen and her daughters were lovely hosts. Combine at home comfort with amazing views, the horse and donkey out front, the springer spaniel you'll probably see flash-by and the cattle and chickens in the back...

We stayed here for two nights in july 2012. The room was very pleasant and spacious. We were very well welcomed by Eileen and John who gave us very good advices for the continuation of our journey. The environment of B & B is really charming with all the animals (donkey, hens horse, without forgetting Toby the dog). Do not...

My wife and I took a glorious trip to Ireland for our honeymoon. Our third destination during the trip was Killarney, in which we stayed at the Carriglea House. The Carriglea House sits upon beautiful grounds where animals such as horses and a pony happily graze. Upon entering the house, soothing Romantic period music and Victorian decor greeted us. The...

My 17 yr old daughter and I recently stayed at Carriglea House on a trip to Ireland in July. From the moment we stepped out of our car, the views were spectacular. Upon entering the house, we felt immediately at home in this lovely Victorian which was filled to overflowing with charm. Eileen is lovely and her warm friendly demeanor...
