We stayed two nights and everything was great from start to finish. They owners are so friendly and helpful they literally would go out of there way to help. The breakfast was extremely tasty with a great choice of fresh ingredients. Our room was very spacious extremely clean and the bathroom was also a good size with a great shower....

Greta greets you warmly at the door and makes you feel at home instantly. The house has all custom wood details which her husband did - the craftsmanship is part of the feeling of the house - the rooms are immaculate and the breakfast has homemade scones and many items to select from. The walk to town is VERY short...

We were practically overwhelmed by the hospitality! The room was spotless and quite spacious, the breakfast was positively lavish, and served very much to order, and Greta went out of her way to help us with every request. The location is quiet (on a cul-de-sac) but just a few minutes' walk from downtown. We would book here again in a...

We stayed for 2 nights in Algrets House. The owner is really nice and very obliging! We had a comfortable bedroom with a nice view onto the mountains. Last but not least, the tasty breakfast every morning. We had a nice time there. And we definitely come back!

Greta's warmth & Al's great breakfasts make Algret House a keeper! The house is beautiful, everything clean to highest standards in this traditional B&B. The location of the house, in the rural suburbs of Killarney, in a former farming community, made us feel like we were in the country, but the centre of town could be reached in a 10...

Delightful hospitality from Greta, a doting and amiable hostess. Rooms were impeccably clean, and quiet with very comfty beds. The rooms were small but had everything we needed, including coffee/tea. Convenient 5-6 minute walk to city center with plenty of pubs and dining. DELICIOUS BREAKFAST! I would stay here again on a future trip to Killarney.😀😀😀

The traditional Irish B&B is under pressure from the social media based alternatives but this is an example of how they can prosper. A beautifully furnished house, showing the woodworking skills of her husband to good effect, is run by the cheery proprietress in a relaxed but efficient manner. Everything was provided without fuss. Very comfortable bed in a spacious...
