Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We arrived down to woodlawns guesthouse on Friday evening to recieve a very warm and friendly welcome from Niamh. She showed us to our spacious and cosy room and let us settle in. The view of the mountains was breathtaking from. Our window. We arrived down to chat with niamh briefly as we wanted to scout out the area and got lots of recommendations from niamh on where to eat and drink and we were not disappointed. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept well.plenty of pillows and just the right temperature throughout the stay. Our room was freshened and cleaned while we were out so was lovely coming back after a long day of touring. Breakfast which we preordered was fresh tasty and filling and set us for a day touring dingle and surrounding areas. Our two night stay was thoroughly enjoyed. Definitely recommend hitting this guest house between the staff and location it's ideal as it's got lots to offer on the door step and it's quiet.

Woodlawn House was a perfect location for exploring Killarney. It’s close to Ross Castle, Killarney estate and gardens, and the center of the bustling downtown. Lots of coffee shops and pubs to choose from. We took the hop on and hop off bus from the center part of town and explored Killarney National Park! But recommend renting a bike f you can. It looked like fun! Also pack a lunch from the Centre gas station. They make sandwiches to go! Wished we could have stayed longer. Woodlawn House is a great place to stay and Wayne is a super host to work with.

My friend and I couldn't recommend staying here strongly enough. Perfect for what we needed. Wayne is a fantastic host and very accommodating! He was also very knowledgable about the area and gave us some good tips before we set out to do the ring of Kerry. The hotel is easily in walking distance from the town centre and also a stones throw away from the national park. Very happy customers. Will be recommending to friends for sure.

We always return to Woodlawn house while in Killarney. The location is second to none with the town within walking distance. Wayne always provides a very competitive rate and provides us with everything we need during our stay, whether that is looking after our bikes, providing a mini fridge or providing advice or guidance on places to go and things to do. Highly recommend!!

Woodlawn House was recommended to us by some friends who stayed here 2 years ago. We booked directly with wayne over the phone and he gave us a good deal. We stayed in the family suite- very spacious top floor room (2 flights of stairs- might not suit everyone but we didn’t mind). The room was very clean with a lovely view of the mountains. We opted for room only so had a nice breakfast out each morning in Killarney (Curious Cat Cafe, Killarney Plaza and the Strawberry Fields). We liked the variety- kids don’t like the usual full Irish breakfast on offer in B&Bs. The location was great close to the town centre but be prepared to walk as the main road into town is very busy with traffic to and from the national park. We rented bikes and cycled around Killarney which was also nice. Killarney is very busy at the moment but we would like to return more off season when it is a little quieter.

The plus points: excellent location close to all amenities, plenty of parking, very friendly hosts. The not so good points:. The room we were given was not pictured on the website. It was clean but dated with a carpet that needed replacing. Everything was very mis-matched and dated and gave an overall disappointing impression. The view was just on to the back of the building. No breakfast option.

Falsely advertised a Bed and Breakfast. Still clinging on to covid excuse to save € while other BBs are serving breakfast this was very disappointing. The family that live here decided to pull there TV out the side garden which we got no peace and quiet to rest after a long day out we had to hear there TV and shouting towards a match with a screaming kid and dog barking, this was shocking. To top those two big things off the milk in the room was sour for tea and coffee. Wish we had of booked in any other bnb at same price that serves breakfast and does not bother there customers with noise

Myself and wife stayed in one of the front rooms, we loved the amount of natural light and the view of the mountains. The stay was without any issues and totally relaxed. It is also within walking distance of everything.

This was our first time in Killarney and it did not disappoint. Wayne and Cara are very welcoming. The rooms were spacious and breakfast was great. It was a short walk from town which was very convenient. We recommend Woodlawn house as a place to stay in Killarney.

This B&B is located in a beautiful part of Killarney within a short walking distance to the town and local restaurants. The landlord/manager greeted us on arrival and was very friendly and helpful with issuing us with a map of the local area. He pointed various sites to visit around the Ring of Kerry. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was first class with various food options. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble. Thank you for a lovely stay.
