Very well-kept, beautiful cottage. Comfortable rooms, quiet, and with amenities including en suite bathrooms. Owner is extremely friendly- pleasure to have met her. She gives pointers on places to visit, shop, and have dinner. Breakfast was delicious. Definitely recommend!

My first visit to the Emerald Isle was made complete with the hospitality we received at Alderhaven Country Home. It truly is a home away from home. Norrie and Pat are the kindest, most helpful of hosts who serve up not only tasty, diverse, traditional Irish cuisine with elegance, but advice, suggestions, and stories that one could listen to for...

Hosts Norrie and Pat make you feel so welcome it's hard to leave. Great food, full Irish breakfasts and plenty of choices for my vegetarian Niece. The rooms were clean and quiet and the park like setting was amazing. In town yet surrounded by trees, pastures, a yard filled with rabbits and even a Pheasant that dropped in for breakfast...

Beautiful home with beautiful surroundings. Stayed for 2 nights in August and it was awesome. Delicious home cooked breakfast cooked by Norrie, who was a very sweet and helpful lady. Her husband was not there while we were there. House is about a 15 minute walk from Killarney which has many amazing places to visit while there. Definitely check out...

We spent two nights at Alderhaven Country Home and both Norrie and Pat O'Neill were wonderful hosts. They made our stay comfortable, offered suggestions for dining and excursions. We would have loved to stay longer, maybe next time! Norrie also makes delicious breakfasts to start your day!

My husband, six year old son and I enjoyed a two night stay here in early August and we loved it. It feels like you are way out in the country rather than a few minutes drive from the city centre. Norrie is a warm and accommodating host and our room was comfortable and well equipped. My son was captivated...

“We were driving, and neither Google Maps nor Bing Maps placed Alderhaven correctly. Both put it on N22 (Cork Road). But you need to get onto Ballycasheen Road, then head west about 600m. Look for a small sign on the right hand side (look for Flesk Grove on the maps, that's your turn). On Flesk Grove, immediately go to the right and up the long, secluded, wooded driveway, skirting all the houses.”
