Booked this hotel 10 months ago to stay in mid May 2023. Received an email yesterday cancelling my booking. Not that surprised as this would appear to be a trend. Contacted the hotel. They have plumbing issues (course they have) and the hotel is closed until further notice. They said I could stay at their sister hotel if they could accommodate me but I would have to contact that hotel myself. I looked at other hotels in the area and guess what. Yes you are right they are all more expensive for the period I wish to stay. So unfortunately I will not be visiting Killarney. I would assume (probably incorrectly) that the Irish Tourist Board might be interested in this case as it is not the first of its type. Should you be in Killarney mid May drive past and see if the hotel is open. Probably will be but I wonder what the price to stay will be. NOT A HOTEL YOU WOULD WISH TO BECOME INVOLVED WITH IN ANY WAY WHATSOEVER. …

We were group 22 golfers who stayed here. The staff were excellent, food so well presented and plenty of it. Bed comfy and room very good. Choice of breakfast was terrific. I didn’t hear one of the party with negative comments. Well done to all

We have just had a two night stay at the Riverside Hotel in Killarney. We simply cannot say anything but good about this hotel. From the minute we arrived there, plenty of parking, check in was a pleasure - really nice girl checked us in. Room was nice and spacious, spotless and met our requirements entirely. A beautiful welcome hamper was in our room which is a lovely gesture. We ate there on the first night in the bar, food & service both exceptional. Breakfast was great, offering a wide variety of options. Overall a great experience & we would highly recommend - close to everything too.

What a great and friendly hotel. A birthday card for his nibs and welcome hamper awaited us in our room. Amazing staff. DJ and Katelyn really started our day at breakfast with a laugh as soon as we walked in. Dean in the restaurant on our 1st night was so accommodating. Will definitely be back

Stayed here for 5 nights when travelling around southern Ireland. Place was a perfect place to set up a base for visiting the surrounding area. Based a short ten minute walk from the heart of Killarney, hotel was clean and well appointed. The room itself was sizeable and very comfortable with most amenties available. Unfortunately the safe was not working but this wasnt a major problem, but the lack of extractor fan in bathroom was the reason for a 4 rating rather than higher. The bar downstairs was great, the food was very good, with breakfast being a highlight and the staff were all very attentive and pleasant. I would happily return here if i was in the area again.

We loved our stay here. It is in a perfect location for seeing all around Killarney and a 10 min walk to the town centre. Afraim in the bar looked after us really well. Bar food was excellent, bed very comfy, breakfast plentiful and tasty. All staff very friendly, with even the maintenance man (didn't get his name) giving us ideas for trips.

Me, my husband and daughter stayed for several nights last week and were very impressed with the staff and hotel. The staff was friendly upon check in. Our room was perfect. We didn’t catch his name but there was I believe an Australian man who went above and beyond to help us with our TV not working to restocking our room with more tea and milk. Also a few other requests without hesitation. We then went down to dinner where we were promptly seated by the same man dinner was delicious and he was very attentive to our needs. I would like the management to hear what wonderful people they have working at their hotel. If we plan another visit to Killarney we will be sure to stay here again.

Stayed one night in the Riverside. Could not fault anything. Fabulous room overlooking the river. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Free newspapers available. Convenient to the INEC and a very pleasant walk by the river. Not far to walk into town.

My husband & I stayed for 2 nights. We were met by friendly ladies in reception.The room was clean & fresh. The bar area was so cosy with a lovely log fire blazing. The food was delicious, nicely presented &lots to eat. Thank you for a wonderful stay:):)

I absolutely loved this hotel. I stayed valentines weekend the room was beautiful with rose petals, chocolate truffles and sparkling wine. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food is amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are travelling to Killarney.
