A 1 night stay for business was met with the dirtiest most disgusting experience that I've had in any hotel. Each point was brought to the attention of the manager on duty with no explanation, just a basic apology. The TV remote being the worst. It was deemed to be cleaned and sanitised and put in a sealed bad. See attached photo. The bathroom floor was filthy and covered in hairs, dirty desk and windows, window handle broken, toilet handle broken and shampoo and shower gel bottle completely empty. No offer of refund or room swap.
We had our wedding day at the Heights Hotel on the 1st of July 2022. Dispite the horrible weather outside we had the most special day. The hotel worked very hard with us in the run up to the wedding. We had 210 guests and everyone commented on how lovely the drinks reception, ballroom and food was. Megan and Jason have been a brilliant help. The staff on the evening were very helpful and the bar was well stocked and flowing all night until late. The best weekend! Cathrena and Paul Sheehan
I can't say enough about the staff in the hotel. From Jacquie in reception to any of the staff I have interacted with, they are so friendly, helpful and efficient. I'll be coming back. Kerry people have always known how to treat tourists, but this hotel goes above and beyond.
We had the most fabulous time at the heights! Everything was seamless but the true stand out was the staff! They were so friendly - made everyone feel so welcome. Big shout out to Shannon who served us during the meal! Great stay
Myself and a friend called in for lunch at 12:25 pm today , We both ordered a wrap and chips . After 20 mins still noting to our table the place was quite enough so I mentioned it to a member of staff . By 1.00 pm I had to go up again and complain as we were still waiting, after ten more mins as we were we leaving they came out with them but we had to leave . They offered a refund and to put them in take away containers , we agreed , what we got in the take away containers was a joke , 1 and a half wraps with a bit of salad and crisps , also wasn’t given full refund .
Lovely hotel, comfortable room, but mostly I found the staff excellent. A special Thank You to Shannon who works in the bar. She went above and beyond to help and nothing was too much trouble.well done Heights hotel.
We greatly enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is beautiful, classy, and well situated, and the dinner staff and check-in guy were outstanding. Breakfast staff was more nonchalant, but hey, it’s breakfast. Meal was buffet-style, delicious and ample. Perfect location from which to explore Killarney, the Ring of Kerry, and the Dingle Peninsula, as well as Killarney National Park and the famed and beautiful Muckross House. Cathel, our check-in guy, was so friendly and helpful, with many tips on what to see and where to go. We loved chatting with him. He should be every hotel’s check-in person. Our room was our one complaint, only because there were not nearly enough lights. Fortunately, we had a room with many windows, and a very nice staffer came to bring us a desk lamp after dark. Without that, we would have had to light some candles! Surely the hotel must have a plan to increase lighting in its otherwise comfortable and nicely-decorated rooms, if ours was representative. I believe they are simply working out some bugs after the long COVID drought of visitors.…
I stayed at this hotel the weekend of 21 May 2022. I arrived on Friday and was greeted by one of the Managers Joan O'Shea. She went out of her way to look after myself & elderly uncle throughout the weekend - going over & above. Everything about this hotel was great, the venue, food but mist of all the service of the staff - outstanding - would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Thanks all
From beginning to end, the team at the Heights hotel, Killarney made our wedding planning run so smoothly. Staff are extremely professional and friendly. The reception area, dining room and wedding garden are fab and provided a beautiful backdrop for photographs. Guests all commented on the quality of the food at our wedding and how good the service was. We were treated like royalty and we would 100% recommend the Heights as a wedding venue. A special word of thanks to Megan and Jason for being so helpful and making our big day so special.
Stayed for mothers day. Stayed with family and so were able to have adjoining rooms which was really helpful. The staff are so welcoming. There was also a singer on Friday and Saturday that was soooo good and really added something to the bar. Breakfast was good quality as well. Beautiful views from the hotel of Killarney mountains.
