Great hotel to stay in, myself and group of friends stayed there for a stag, hotel spotless, lovely spacious rooms bed very comfy and staff very friendly and helpful, beautiful breakfast following morning buffet breakfast eat what ya like, very happy with my stay, will be back to stay again
This hotel was grubby to say the least. The reception area was nicely decorated but this is deceiving. There were stains all over the carpet in the lift, for such a small area this should easily be replaced. I understand the lift is a high traffic area but it is not a nightclub, I don't expect to see this in a hotel. On the third floor as you walk down the corridor there was a hole (plaster on show) and cacks in the walls and missing paint. I have stayed in hotels where this wouldn't be accepted. There was a sign beside the lift saying that the hotel was under renovation, however, no date was stated on this notice. A family member joked that the sign must have been there for years. While I know it is challenging to compare hotels across countries, I can confirm that I have stayed in cleaner youth hostels located in Ireland. The state of the corridor is unacceptable for the price point of the hotel. While the room was clean the decor was very dated. Francis Brennan certainly would have had something to say about it. We decided not to eat in the hotel as I was unsure if the cleanliness would be any different in the kitchen. Check out of the hotel is at 12 noon. At precisely 12.04 we received a phonecall from reception to remind us of check out times. Running late for an event we were finishing packing up, we said we would be down in 5 or 10 minutes. As with most hotels, there is usually a grace period around check out time. At 12.15, reception called again to tell us to check out. I was horrified at the tone in this phonecall. Generally speaking, a hotel should never phone until 12.30 to remind you of check out time, unless the hotel is extremely busy. If it is very busy, this is often stated at check in so you are aware that you need to check out at 12 sharp. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I did not find it value for money and it was not a pleasant stay.…
My sister and I recently stayed at killarney Court Hotel, we found our stay really enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and efficient, food was fab and a taste of more from the cocktails. We will definitely be staying again. Thanks to all 🥰
Must say we had a brilliant time, the staff and service were second to none. The room was well laid out and presented, the room facilities were above what we would call standard. The bar staff were very accommodating and the service they provided for out meal was excellent. Also later that night they were still very helpful. My partner availed of the massage treatment and said it was a fantastic service. The breakfast was ideal as it wasn't a set meal and the buffet style allowed for greater choice. The checkout time also allows you not to feel under pressure to get on the road. Will definitely be staying again.
Went to the bar with some friends on our first and second night visiting Killarney-really great atmosphere, accommodating staff and a really friendly bar. The drinks are really well made and one particular staff member (Luke) was so polite and welcoming that we really felt at ease. Delighted to have found this place as there are so many good locations to go to but not everywhere has this charm. Good location, facilities clean and looking forward to returning in Autumn
Visited the Killarney Court Hotel last Saturday for my best friend's hen party. From start to finish they could not do enough for us. Great service and staff were very accomodating -nothing was a bother for them. Special mention to Naomi in organising our rooms and ensuring the best service for us. The breakfast next morning was delicious and I would definitely stay there again on visiting Killarney with family or friends. Thank you all so much again.
Stayed here for one night last weekend on a package evening that included b&b, 3 course meal each, chocolates and Prosecco. On entering the hotel, we were quite impressed. It was Simple but clean and nicely decorated. Unfortunately, once you get to the lifts, it is all down hill from there. The lifts themselves were dirty and there was a smell of vomit in them. Once we got to our floor we noticed the hallway carpet was covered in stains and the walls in between bedroom doors were dirty and stained too. Keys didn’t work in our door so had to go back to reception and wait in a long queue because the reception was packed… We had been informed that we were upgraded to one of the ‘superior rooms’. (Room 241) If this was a superior room, I dread to think what a basic room is like. It was very dated and just very basic. Again, the walls and carpet weren’t clean really. The toilet in the bathroom was starting to come away from the wall so we were half afraid to put our whole weight on it. There was a dial on the wall to adjust the temperature but all the numbers were faded so we were just hoping that we had it on the coolest setting because it was a sweltering day and it didn’t seem to work. We had a fan in the room but it made little to no difference. We had a very uncomfortable night tossing and turning due to the heat but the bed was comfortable. The included 3 course dinner which we had in the bar was 3/10.. absolutely no thought put into the dishes whatsoever. Uncooked chips and really badly made pavlova . Same with the breakfast.. Cups and cutlery were not washed properly. Hard ‘grilled’ tomatoes and watery eggs… Last thing, the chocolates were a €1.50 pack of Toffifee from Dealz and the Prosecco was a €4 bottle from Lidl. Honestly, trying to lure people in with these ‘deals’ is just a joke…Paid €320 and wasn’t worth €100… Will not be back and will most certainly not be recommending it to anyone!…
Went on a quick trip see see family in the area, staff were very professional and helpful. Ample parking which is always a bonus. Hotel is super clean with nicely updated rooms. Love that it is located across the street from Centra where you can grab your snacks and more.
Stayed for the ring of Kilkenny. Lovely hotel and staff, special thanks to William for great help and looking after our bikes! Would happily stay again for future rides, once we're recovered from this one...
The receptionists at this hotel are absolutely dead on! Viv was amazing and thanks to her we will be returning! We were able to check in early and were upgraded to a superior room!!! Thanks so much Viv!!! We will be back!!!
