Booked this hotel on a DBB package. Despite supposed deep cleaning, you could write your name in the dust. The rooms are not serviced during a multi night stay. You are requested to put your towels outside the room each day and new ones would be replaced. They were never replaced and we had to go searching each time and on each occasion were issued hand rather than bath towels.

Breakfast was served from a long buffet which meant one had to queue for ages to pass the fruit/juice and bread/cereal station to get to the hot food. The hotel suffered from a chronic undersupply of staff in all Departments. Food at breakfast is good but do not expect eggs cooked to order, porridge, salmon or cold cuts and cheeses. Bread limited to brown or white. Not sure what vegans or vegetarians are supposed to do.

Dinner menu is limited but foid is good, served in ample portions, not too rapid service and waiting staff are nice.

I booked a DBB package at 130 euro per night. I got the impression the hotel were reluctant to honour it and I had to go to reception each evening for a voucher that was limited to 2 courses which was not advised at booking.

We attempted to check in at 2 but room would not be ready until 4pm - well it wasn't to have it dusted. The room was at the front of the hotel and the noise of early morning deliveries to the hotel and the shop next door starts at 4.30am.

Would we stay there again or recommend to others? Probably not!!!!

Stayed here for 4 nights and have to say it was a great experience from start to finish. The staff are very welcoming, room was spacious and the breakfast had a great selection.
The hotel itself itself is being great in relation to covid, there was plenty of hand sanitiser and tables were disinfected after each customer and the waiters/bar staff wore face masks which helped put my mind at ease. The tables are well spaced out and and social distancing is easily maintained in the common areas.

Myself and my husband stayed for 3 nights on a bed and breakfast and 2 course dinner each night package. Staff were very efficient and friendly. Room was lovely. The bed was so comfy. Due to Covid restrictions, room could not be serviced. However plastic bag was provided for dirty towels which you left outside room and were replaced in a plastic bag which was left outside the room door. Breakfast was buffet. The food was always hot and very well presented. Dinner was excellent. Always 3 Roast of the day choices nd fish, curry etc on the menu. The soup was delicious. Different soup each day. A big Thank you to all the Staff for making our stay so special.

Trip was affected by Covid 19 expectations so I could understand that the hotel is limited in the normal services it offers, however, for what is a relatively large hotel, there are very limited services on offer. The lobby is small and you cannot consume food or drinks in it. Although the welcome letter said you can enjoy “food or a drink” in the bar, you cannot have a drink unless you eat food, even as a hotel resident. You can only have a drink in your room, but you have to purchase it at the hotel bar, so you will pay hotel prices to have a drink in your own room.

The hotel is clean and the breakfast is good, however, some of the staff, particularly those serving breakfast are not particularly friendly. “Brusque” is a term I would use. There can be very long queues in the morning for breakfast. On one morning we arrived outside at 930 am. After queuing until 9:50 am, breakfast service stops at 10am almost on the dot, regardless of whether you were queuing outside. When my wife sent my 8 year old son up for extra juice at around 10am, he was told by one of the serving waitresses, “tell your mum, you can’t order things after 10am”.

Another morning, my wife went up to get her breakfast and the children’s breakfast. When I went up to get my own, I was asked, “is that your table finished now” as the sever flung the metal food coverings to the side.

Don’t stay in room 109, I was awoken almost every night with lorries doing deliveries and reversing beeping noises which kept me awake on my final morning from 4am until 6am!

Finally, not all staff were unfriendly. Some were helpful, cheery and polite. However, I was not asked on leaving how my stay was so felt compelled to write this review instead. I was surprised that I didn’t have a better stay given that this hotel has good reviews generally. Presumably we came at a bad time but I think that hotels should remember that people who come to their hotels after working hard all year, spending a lot of money, really look forward to their trips away and it is disappointing when you sometimes are made to feel like you are an inconvenience, rather than a welcome guest.

Stayed here last tuesday have to say was a massive let down. We were on the 3rd floor it felt like this floor was reserved for homeless families which wouldnt have bothered me in the slightest but when kids are running the corridors at 12 at night banging on doors shouting its a bit of a problem. The beds were so uncomfortable and pillows were like a steam roller had flattened them so with little sleep i was looking forward to breakfast which was horrible i went down at 9 breakfast looked like it was there since 6 and ham and cheese is hardly a continental. One thing is for sure i will never stay here again

I recently stayed at the Killarney Court Hotel, Tralee Road Killarney and I had a wonderful experience. I received a birthday voucher from my blonde friend in Sydney and it turned out to be one of the best birthday gifts I ever received. I got one of the best bedrooms in the hotel and there was a box of chocolates waiting for us when we got to the room. I had a wonderful experience at the Killarney Court. Every staff member I encountered, from the receptionist at the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! The meal was delicious and I would recommend the chowder. The waiting staff was efficient and I had excellent banter with them which made my stay more enjoyable. When it came to breakfast because I am a Type 2 Diabetic I asked for porridge and berries and it was no bother. The room had lovely décor and the most comfortable bed I ever slept on. The bathroom was 5Star with the shower my favourite along with a heated floor. I loved the flat screened TV where I was able to watch some football. But it was the friendly family like atmosphere of the hotel that impressed me most. The staff is just top class and no demand is too onerous to them. They work as a team so credit to their overall boss, he or she is doing a great job. It’s ideally located at the end of the bypass and only ten minutes walk into the centre of Killarney town. I was so impressed that I decided to stay an extra night and was sad leaving this oasis of warmth, friendliness and luxury. I have stayed in many hotels because of my work as a sports journalist but I have to say Killarney Court in one of if not the best I have visited. I have no hesitation in recommending the Killarney Court for anyone visiting Killarney and it will not cost you an arm and leg. I will be back and thanks to my Blonde friend who made it possible and to my old friend whose company I enjoyed!

Never again, worst hotel ever! Dusty out of date room, had dinner in the restaurant but were not allowed to have a drink at the bar because it wasn't barfood even tho it's all on the same premises and tables for the restaurant are in the same large open space facility as the bar, Nice staff apart from one very rude barman, regardless of Covid and new regulations its not worth the money, you do not get what you are promised and pay for, would advise people to stay home get a Chinese and a movie save your money! I know businesses are doing their best under the current circumstances but it was ridiculous the way we were treated after spending money on dinner then refused access to the bar (same room) and told to buy drinks at the bar and drink them in our room, might as well have stayed at home, so if you want the nostalgic feeling of being sent to bed after your dinner like a child then go for it. Very very disappointed as it was a surprise for my partner and a lot of effort went into getting there. Very disappointed.

Very nice, big and comfortable rooms. Bathroom very clean and big the pressure is amazing in the shower/bath. Very quiet. Amazing location. There is a bar attached and it’s a late one too so you can always enjoy a drink. Staff is extremely polite and helpful. Only one minus is that the tv’s in rooms are old and there is no HDMI or smart option so you cant watch what you want when it’s raining outside but they are still big and you won’t be spending so much tome in the room because of the location. Definitely will be back and will be more than happy to recommend to anyone as a perfect weekend get away!!!

We paid €87 for a superior double room. The bathroom was lovely but the rest of the room was worse than a standard double in most hotels. It had 2 single beds zipped together and 2 single mattresses on top so there was a small gap between them. My side had a spring digging into my side all night which is not very comfortable never mind when your 7months pregnant. Our room was freezing for the whole time we were there even with the heating on. Had to sleep with a jumper on in bed. We had dinner in the bar/restaurant and it was lovely and couldn't fault it. There was one man serving and he was fantastic very nice man. There was a young man and woman working also but they were clueless, the lady tried to convince a customer that Hennessey wasnt brandy??..
The same 2 young staff were working for breakfast the next morning and let me tell you they are definitely in the wrong job. Breakfast was an extra €22 which we couldn't eat as it was like rock so we just had croissants instead. Even the chef came out and had words with those 2 staff. We had planned to finish off our Christmas shopping the next day but instead we left the hotel early and went straight home we had had more than enough of the place. We were so disappointed with our stay. We have stayed in better hotels for the same price or even cheaper with much better qualityand service. Both my partner and I have worked in the hotel and bar industry for years and never have we seen something so badly run and set up.

Nice stay here. Upgraded to a superior room (no price increase just request on booking you might get lucky). Bed was huge
.. maybe a bit too big for room as limited floor space but not a big issue. Bathroom was very modern shower very powerful. The restaurant was nice id give food 3/5. Easily walkable into the town about 10 mins maybe enjoyable walk. Also has a centra and off-licence beside it which we found handy. Rooms were clean and supplied in bathroom with mini toiletries. Id recommend here
