Detailed Reviews
My husband and I have just spent a week at Earls Court House Hotel, it was perfect in every way. The hotel is perfectly clean, great sized rooms - we were in a deluxe king room - quiet location but within easy walking distance of Killarney town centre, first class breakfast, staff very helpful and Covid regulations strictly adhered too which we really appreciated. Would definitely recommend Earls Court and we would love to return as soon as possible.

Loved this hotel, real olde world charm. We wrer upgraded to a suite and it was fabulous. Four poster bed, loads of room to relax, we felt spoilt. Bed was huge and really comfy (I suffer with my back), not this time. Breakfast was delicious, staff really make you feel safe, they work very hard adhering to Covid rules, constantly sanitizing and bringing everything to your table so there is no overlapping. Sorry we couldn't stay longer but we will definitely return. Top class hotel.

One of the nicest places we have stayed after 6 weeks of travelling!
The staff at this hotel, from check in to check out were exceptional. Very helpful and friendly, acknowledging us each time we walked past.
Our room (302) was just wow! It was huge, had a lovely bed, comfortable sitting area and plenty of room to move about. The bathroom was also roomy, with a bath and a walk in shower.
Being on the 3rd floor, at the front of the hotel, we looked out towards the mountains.
The breakfast was lovely. Self service of cereals, pastries, fruits and yogurt and then order off the menu for a hot breakfast (full Irish, pancakes or scrambled eggs). Again all staff in breakfast room were lovely.
Hotel was a short, easy 15 minute walk from the train station and less to the centre of town. Very close to Killarney House with walking paths to Ross Castle.
Hotel also allows use of washing machine and dryer (€12), a great bonus!’
The room was a little dark, which was great for mood lighting but a little hard to see sometimes.
As with all older buildings, walls are thin meaning sound can be heard from adjoining room.

Earls Court is a lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Killarney. It is extremely clean and there was great attention to Covid 19 with sanitisers everywhere and staff wearing masks serving at breakfast. The room was spacious, comfortable with a small balcony. A quality bar of chocolate was left with the tea making facilities as a welcome gift. Staff were lovely and attentive. Breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Stayed here for 2 nights last week with my wife. Booked last minute directly with the hotel in the end. It really is a lttle gem of a place for those who like quiet, elegance and peace and tranquility.
The rooms are really spacious, immaculately clean and decorated with taste and character.
Beds extremely comfortable. Slept really well.
Breakfast was delicious and loved how the buffet was run in a Covid world. Escorted to the buffet by your server where you could pick out your choices (without touching) and then brought to to your table by member of staff. This system worked a treat and should be kept all the time. It made the breakfast experience so much calmer and relaxed compared to usual mayhem at breakfast buffets with people constantly getting up and down.
But the stand out feature at this hotel? The staff - so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The owner Eimear could not have been nicer engaging with everybody - so friendly and chatty. And a very special mention must go to Joanne on the front desk. Joanne could not have been friendlier or more helpful. She epitomises what excellent customer service is all about. This is what makes people return to a hotel/restaurant/business etc.
She spent an hour ringing around to try and find us somewhere to eat on our first night and finally turned up trumps.
Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

This is considered a boutique hotel. The property was established in the 90’s and made to look like an older hotel. The rooms are spacious and the property is located .6 miles from the town where all the pubs, shopping, & restaurants are located. You can walk into town without a problem, but a lot more hotels are in proximity to the nightlife, which is what we prefer. This is down a quieter street, but again, walking distance.
The staff is friendly and the only reason why I rates 4 stars is because there’s no air conditioning and I know that’s customary in most of the hotels, but usually there’s fans in the rooms. We had to request a fan, handheld blow dryer, and to do any ironing you have to walk down to the main lobby and use the community iron. It’s $15 euro to do a load of wash, but right around the corner at the gas station it’s $5 euro at the gas station.

This hotel seems more like a bed and breakfast to me. You won't find any nicer employees anywhere!! Everyone from the front desk staff to the breakfast servers are fabulous. When we checked in the front desk clerk offered us a map, asked why we were in town and provided vital information that helped us do the things we wanted to do. This is off the beaten path, so quiet, but still within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and bars in Killarney. If you have mobility issues, you may have to take a cab though. We walked everyday to the downtown area without difficulty. If you have a noisy neighbor, you will probably hear them through the walls. We tried to keep our TV volume low later in the evening so not to disturb our neighbors. They have a place where you can wash and dry your clothes for a small fee. They also have a small bar with indoor and outdoor seating. We did spend one evening sitting outside with drinks. The front desk clerk also mans the bar, so only beer or simple mix drinks. We loved the coffee at the breakfast buffet. Best coffee I had while in Ireland. The breakfast was delicious with a small breakfast bar then a made to order menu with a daily special. The breakfast is included with the room.

We stayed 4 nights here and had a very enjoyable stay. We had booked a "double room with balcony" and asked for the top floor for the best view – and this was also what we had (second floor – room 202). Our room was actually a three-person room with an extra bed but it was a big room with plenty of floor space even with the extra bed. It was very comfortable. The balcony itself is not particularly pretty and has a very high wall which means you have no view if you sit down – but the Irish weather is seldom suitable for that anyway and we were happy enough to just stand on the balcony and enjoy the view. There is a nice view of the surrounding mountains and in any case it's nice that you can open the balcony door and step outside – and the large glass section (windows and door) is a big plus.
All the hotel staff are very friendly.
The location is very good – it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the town centre. It's actually an advantage not to be in the town, especially if you have a car, as the traffic in and out of the town gets very busy at times.
The only small quirk was the keys. Three times during our stay one of our two key cards didn't work and we had to go to reception to have it fixed. They of course did that, but it was a little strange. But other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

As always , earls Court House never fails to provide a friendly atmosphere and a comfortable stay. Eimear was very helpful and the room was so spacious and the addition of the fan in the hot weather showed that they were very in tune with their guests comfort. A little anniversary gift on arrival was very thoughtful and the location was only a 5 minute walk from all that killlarney has to offer. We love the style of furniture in the rooms and Earls Court house will always be our first choice for stays in killarney.

We used this hotel as a base for Slea Head Drive and the Ring of Kerry and it was a great choice! Parking on site, walking around Killarney was easy, great breakfast, and loved the storage for our luggage. This room was the best for bathroom and clothes storage out of all the hotels and B&Bs we stayed at. A beautifully appointed room, we loved the welcome on our anniversary! The staff recommended excellent dining options.
