Killarney Lodge was a highlight of our entire vacation. The ladies who run the inn are absolute saints who spoiled us rotten. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and set us up well for each day exploring the region. The location is unbeatable. The inn is on a quiet street just off of the main road into Killarney, yet the downtown with endless pubs, restaurants and tour companies is only a two minute walk away. Being able to end each day with tea, biscuits and a book in the cozy lounge was so simple, yet nearly perfect (the only thing I would add is a golden retriever to pet while reading). I can’t imagine that I won’t be disappointed in any other inns I stay in in the future. Yes, Killarney Lodge is that great!

Stayed here while on a trip with friends. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable and the service was excellent! I even left some clothes behind me and Catherine the owner very kindly went above and beyond to post them back to my address in Dublin. The rooms were serviced each morning while we were at breakfast with fresh towels and water replaced. Can't recommend this kind lady's establishment enough.

Very nice B&B with friendly and accommodating staff. Room #6, downstairs very roomy and bathroom has a full tub and separate shower with really good water pressure and hot water. Room does have its own AC wall unit. There is coffee and tea available in lobby at all times, no snacks or cookies. Full breakfast available with choices to choose from, no buffet due to covid. Nice location to center of town, horse and carriage and taxi at round about, 2 blocks from B&B. There is a nice park also very close.

We were fortunate enough to stay here for 2 nights when our original booking in another b and b was "lost". We definately did well by staying here. The room was amazing, the welcome fantastic and very generous, room was spotless and has everyting we needed. There was a great variety of foods ont eh breakfast menu all delicious and cooked to order. On the day we checked out we went cycling and we there was no problem leaving the car until we returned. We coud also use the bathroom if we wished and avail of the tea/coffee which was extremely generous. Location was fab literally 2 mins from town centre. A gret stay and we cannot wait t ro return. Having never been to Killarney before, we booked a night of accommodation off of Google reviews. It did not disappoint, we even asked to extend our stay to a second night. Don't expect a modern hotel, expect a gorgeous country inn within walking distance of great restaurants. From when we arrived we were warmly greeted and checked in. The room was large with everything you needed, and a bathroom with great water pressure. The stay included breakfast that ranged from croissants, cereals, crepes, full Irish and a few more. Some old school aspects that they still have in place, but they would be my first stop for any accommodation needs in Killarney. Thank you Catherine & Marcus for an amazing stay.

I've been negligent in not writing this review. Before I start full disclosure, I will take a small well run guesthouse or B&B over a luxury hotel anyday.
My wife and I were in Killarney for a funeral last month. We chose to stay at the Killarney Lodge based on the reviews and proximity to all of the places we needed to be. I can only say that it was a very wise choice. Killarney Lodge is in the centre of the town, just outside of the gates of Killarney National Park, within a stones throw of numerous coffee shops, pubs, and restaurants. Truly, you can walk to almost anywhere in the town centre from the Killarney Lodge.
Our room was large, bright and well appointed. The common areas also had a welcoming vibe with an unaffected "Irishness" in the selection of furniture, photos and artwork and reading material. The breakfasts were great, from the full Irish to the simple continental, everything was well prepared and presented.
But the real attraction here is the staff. From the owner/manager to the staff pouring your coffee in the morning you almost got the feeling that the people here liked their job and enjoyed interacting with the guests- strange huh? Seriously, given the circumstances of our visit the staff could not have been warmer, more helpful or supportive.
Both my wife and I are so glad that we choose Killarney Lodge.

Of all the places we stayed in our nearly 3 week trip in Ireland, the Killarney Lodge was our favorite. The location is excellent as it is steps away from the entrance to the national park, rail station, shops and restaurants but it is not in the noisy and congested city center. The hotel’s grounds and its interior decorations and furnishings were impeccably clean and attractive. The staff was very knowledgeable about local hiking trails, music venues, and restaurants and always eager to help. And breakfasts were filled with healthful and flavorful food options. Would definitely come back.

Staff is friendly, and helpful. The property is beautiful inside and out. Parking on the property is right there by the door. The room we had was the largest, cleanest double of all the places we stayed. Sharing a room and splitting the cost made is very inexpensive. This was the nicest,cleanest property we stayed at, compared to Port Laoise and Galway the Salthill Hotel on the Promenard.
Next visit I will spend a week saying there and walk to to town.

Absolutely wonderful stay at the Killarney Lodge. From the nice welcome to the delicious breakfasts to the friendly staff, this place was delightful. The location is perfect for a two-block walk into the best of Killarney; plenty of shops, pubs, and restaurants. It is also a very convenient base for exploring the Ring and Kerry. In fact, you are just minutes from the National Park. The interior is cozy but not cramped or outdated. The beautifully carpeted stairway and landing offer a perfect place to sit and recharge or read. I look forward to my next visit.

Great food, great staff, free parking, and the lodge is within walking distance of everything you'd want to see in Killarney.
Also, my husband and I discovered we had a flat tire on our rental car the morning we checked out, which was unfortunately a Sunday so no tire shops were open. The ladies working at the Lodge helped us get our tired fixed so we were able to leave within a few hours.

Our travel friends had some laundry done. They were given a bag for laundry, turned it in and it was returned next day clean and folded. They were pleased with the process and felt it wasn't very expensive.
