This Pub and Guesthouse was one of the highlights of our trip. The rooms were very comfortable and clean at a great price. The atmosphere in the pub was cozy including a fireplace. Great breakfast to start the day. Excellent live regional music along with an Irish pub dinner menu. There is a dinner house as well. All the staff... More

I booked a room in the guesthouse about 24 hours before I arrived as a last minute trip to Killarney.... it was wonderful! I really enjoyed having the bar downstairs, as I am a solo traveler and it gave me people to talk to close by. The location is great, and very close walks to most things you would need!... More

Upon arrival the staff went out of their way to insure we had a close and inexpensive place to park. They suggested we NOT drive on the Ring of Kerry but take the bus tour; we said "OK" so they phoned the tour company and booked us for the next morning. Room was very comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and... More

I had made a mistake and found ourselves without a place to stay and we were literally heading to Killarney. I called Murphy's as it was recommended to me. I can not say enough about how wonderful everyone was! The room was quaint, quiet and perfect. The folks at the desk were ever so helpful. Then the pub at night... More

The room was small, but okay. Staff was friendly but we were very disappointed that there was no parking available for hotel guests. We had to park in a "pay & display" a couple blocks away. That was the only parking we could find as the streets were packed. In all the places we stayed in Ireland, we always had... More

Guesthouse was older but had a great location near all the pubs and restaurants. Parking was easy and across the street in a car park. Pretty clean. The location was a tad noisy as we got woken up in the middle of the night with a truck loading kegs. Friendly staff.

Have just returned from a 7 night stay at Murphy’s Guest House and must thank all the staff for their typical Irish welcome: nothing being too much trouble and always with a smile. Stayed here for a wedding. Rooms very clean, good shower and comfortable bed. Ate here first night but had breakfast nearby as other guests didn't recommend it! Very friendly staff . Only downside was that Killarney is obviously a very lively town and the nightclub nearby meant the street was full of happy revellers until early hours! Clean town which... More
