This B & B is in a good location in Killarney, and was friendly and comfortable. Lovely big room too, and somewhere to keep our bikes safe. Also helped us dry all our wet clothes after a very wet walk.

We booked this B&B (3 rooms for 6 people) a week before we decided to climb Carrauntoohil and it very reasonably priced for a weekend stay in Killarney in a weekend in August. The rooms were clean and spacious, the bathroom were great - a mix of showers and baths. There was ample parking for us all and the breakfast was delicious on both mornings, freshly cooked. The B&B was located just 5 minutes walk from the main street and all the restaurants and bars.

I cannot rate Abbey Lodge highly enough. We booked in last minute for the races and within 5 minutes of ringing Breda for a room I had the car parked at the property and was given my room key. The location of the property is literally a minute walk to the centre of Killarney with a petrol station straight across the road. There is Parking on site. The room was perfect with a lovely en-suite. The house is situated enough back from the road you can’t hear any traffic. Breakfast was brilliant with a huge range of choice. Breda was such a great host, so friendly and accommodating even at the last minute! Can’t wait to come back and stay again. I will defo be recommending this accommodation to anyone travelling to Killarney.

Stayed here for two nights with friends. Rooms were clean and staff were very friendly. Very well organised. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Would stay again and recommend as so near to the town centre.

A friend of mine and I spent two nights at Abbey Lodge on the first bank holiday weekend of June. First of all, the place is literally 10 minutes walk from the train station. The location is perfect to start off a hike from there to different routes or just visit the town and have few drinks; and the best part, it is very quiet and peaceful at night. Our room was thoroughly clean and sanatised, with very confortable beds. They provided us with a kettle, cups, coffee, teabags and milk in the room as my friend requested when booking. Breakfast was superb: you have different options on the menu and a buffet area. We had a very nice bowl of porridge and a delicious Full Irish Breakfast with nice coffee and orange juice. Last but not least, the staff were really nice and welcoming, and the service excellent. They perfectly comply with all Covid19 regulations with a one-way system to enter and exit the house, use of face coverings at all times. You will find hand sanatiser in all common areas, including the dining room. Their customer service is also outstanding. They replied an email in no time when I needed to ask them a question. Overall, we are very happy with our stay at Abbey Lodge.
