We stayed overnight while traveling through Ireland. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was quite good. There was a group of a cappella singers also dining there that night who were a bit raucous, but some of the songs were enjoyable. I give the hotel and our room five stars, the service was only a three in... More

We had dinner here last night. The dinning room is delightful and the food excellent. We had a nice bottle of wine for around 35 Euros. The wine list is extensive. For appetizers my wife had the prawns in phyllo dough and I had the oysters. For main courses my wife had the scallops in cheese sauce while I had... More

This is the second time we have stayed at Foley's and we brought more friends from the USA. Visiting Ireland to play golf and Killarney was a great central location and terrific shopping and touring town. Foley's had everything to make our stay comfortable, and the breakfast was huge and delicious! We had one dinner, the service like four years... More

I had low expectations. I thought this was just another pub on the street. To my surprise it was an elegant restaurant, but I didn't feel uncomfortable in my casual attire. Very attentive staff and awesome food. We made reservations to eat here and definitely would have been turned away without them. I can't say enough about how good the... More

Had a lovely time here . Small ,personal and welcoming .atmospheric breakfast area and loved the two paintings of Jimmy O Dea and David Kelly . I knew Foleys was known for the restaurant however there was an old world charm to the accommodation that really appealed . The parking facility was very welcome

Spent a couple of nights at this hotel. Room was rather dated, but clean. Wi-Fi speed was good and there was a bathroom/TV in our room. Beds were a little hard for our liking. We had the fish and chips in the restaurant for dinner, a bit pricey (55 Euros for 2) but the food was good. Breakfast, included with... More

Ate at Foley's on the evening of 24.08.16. We took a quick two-night late summer break in Killarney and, after an early eveinnig walk about town, simply walked up. The restaurant is nicely appointed with classical French decor, white tablecloths and full service, and had a chap plugging away reasonably well at the piano. We were not overly hungry, so... More

For what we favoured as one of Killarneys best in the past we were sorely disappointed last weekend by our visit there. With no front of house person just the waitresses running the restaurant we were quite annoyed when we had to return the scallops mornay due to hard lumpy potatoes and were told unbelieveably that this is the way... My wife and I stayed at Foley's during our honeymoon and were able to book a large, beautiful and comfortable room on late notice, at a reasonable price. We had a larger bed, and breakfast was quite good. The location was unbelievable, right in the heart of the restaurants and shops of Killarney.
