The room was small for 4 people and their luggage. The water pressure is an absolute joke and barely got to warm. You basically can plan on a towel bath and not plan on washing any long hair. The towels were stained as well, with hair in the sink upon our arrival. All luggage must be carried up a flight narrow pair of stairs, so beware if you have a lot of luggage or heavy luggage. Due to all this we would not recommend staying there unless your budget dictates otherwise.

Stayed for three nights. Located outside Killarney in Fossa but nice area and close to all travel routes. Had a lovely bedroom with balcony at front of property. Very clean and all covid regulations in place , masks in communal areas etc. room was very clean and beds comfortable. Tea/coffee kettle, hairdryer and a smart TV in our room. The breakfasts were the highlight , piping hot and so tasty and plenty of tea and toast. The Vegetarian option was just wonderful. Breakfast 8am or 9am. Hostess was friendly and gave directions, advice and maps to everyone. Might have a bit of road traffic noise if windows open and the odd creaky floors but I like the character of a guesthouse over a hotel any day.

Our stay at 19th Green Guesthouse was lovely! Freda was super nice and hospitable; she gave us a few useful tips about the area. Everything was handled with care and professionalism. The accommodation respects social distancing, use of masks and other sanitary measures. Our room was clean and very comfortable, the shower was good. Access to some common areas was restricted because of the current situation, but there was a very spacious (and warmly decorated) sitting room where we were able to sit and have a bite to eat. Breakfast was also handled with care; we had to book a specific time as to respect distance. We both had the Real Irish Breakfast; which we thought was very nice and filling. Recommended. The guesthouse counts with generous parking space, which is needed if you are in this area of Ireland. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and we felt very welcome. We will be coming back and we definitely recommend it.…

Freda and John welcomed a bus load of strangers into their home for dinner as part of our tour. They both have a passion for food and sharing their love of food with their guests. The food was outstanding....absolutely would love to go back as a guest!

Extremely friendly staff and very welcoming and homey atmosphere. We had so many questions about Ireland and places to visit and they took the time to share info and details at any given moment. Breakfast was delightful and the best we have had since arriving in Ireland 5 days ago. I loved the natural fireplace in the group sitting room, it was a bonus for me. Thanks John, Freeda and family for a wonderful stay!

Great family atmosphere and superb hosts. John and Freda were great hosts, along with John Sheehan being a fantastic Chef. Great value and excellent food. Their knowledge of the area and country was some of the best advice we got all week.

My wife and I along with three friends stayed overnight at this guesthouse early in August 2019. Freda treated us like royalty from the word go. We arrived late for dinner but breakfast next morning was glorious.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was lovely. Room was clean and comfortable. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of both hot and cold options. Good location. Easy access to town. We had a front room and it was very quiet. Highly recommend.

We had a very nice dinner buffet here with our group on our tour around Ireland. All the food was very fresh and made right there. All the drinks were great and the dessert included a baileys cheesecake which was lovely !

booked this location from online reviews and was a let down. Had a front room and could hear traffic on the main road. The dining room was nice and had certificates all over the place, but the breakfast was a let down. I would not stay there again.
