We had a fabulous stay for one night to celebrate our 5yr anniversary and Babymoon. We enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful vitality suite. We had a lovely meal in Monks Lounge. The service was exceptional. Breakfast was fantastic and great choice for Coeliac. Each and every member of staff we met was friendly and welcoming. We had an amazing relaxing break away. We will definitely be back again.
Had a faultless stay at the Muckross Park hotel: friendly, considerate, attentive staff front of desk and in the restaurant; an excellent meal at the Yew Tree; a pleasant morning relaxing in the spa ( steam room; sauna; jacuzzi & pool). We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
Great reception lovely room , however the small gym doesn’t open until 9 , food in hotel is good however the Caldogen bar outside hotel is just ok .. leisure end is average..all in all a good ok..maybe shop around for money.: would come back!!!
I attended a wedding at the Hotel and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel did the couple well. I stayed on and have treatments at the Spa and made use of the outdoors hot tub, sauna and steam room, and had a massage. The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout and was a relaxed place. The settings are fabulous, in the National Park and add to the air of serenity. The staff were professional and friendly and I'd like to make special commendation to Joe in Colgan's, Mirjana in the Spa, Lucan, Dorrian and Bernadette.
This place is not to be missed. From the initial emails I received helping us with logistics till the moment we left our stay was perfect. Megan and the entire staff at Muckross were truly the most lovely people we have ever met. They made our first trip to Ireland better than we could have imagined. Every suggestion made and service provider was top notch, especially our favorite driver, Moses. This hotel and all of its staff are true ambassadors for Ireland.
The Muckross Park Hotel is is situated adjacent to the Killarney National Park near the Muckross Abbey and the Muckross House. It is opulently decorated and amply staffed. While the atmosphere was formal, my husband and I were made to feel comfortable during our two night stay garbed in our travel clothes and sneakers. The staff seemed very eager to do whatever was necessary to please us. For example, while we enjoyed breakfast on the morning of our departure, the manager made sure that we had coffee and pastries for our journey to our next destination. I wish we would have had more time at the hotel to enjoy the grounds and the spa. When we return to Killarney, we will certainly plan more time at the Muckross Park Hotel and Spa.
We had a fantastic day at Muckross Park for our wedding on 15th July. Planning our wedding from Dubai was made easy thanks to the help of our wonderful coordinator Orla and manager Niall who both worked hard to make sure that our day was special from start to finish. And indeed it was! As soon as our guests arrived to the Muckross Park they were welcomed into the stunning Atrium and surrounding garden with Prosecco and drinks and snacks on arrival which they all enjoyed out in the sunshine. Guests were then escorted into the beautiful Valentia Suite for the main evening meal which was top class! We had the pleasure of having the tasting session with our parents before our wedding and were highly impressed with the food so we were hoping the food on the wedding day would be just as good, and it truly was. Our guests still talk about how amazing the food was on the day! The service was also top quality. There was never a glass empty and extra portions of food were offered around. The venue itself is stunning and the rooms are beautiful, especially the bridal suite which I had the pleasure of staying in the night before and night of the wedding. The party continued into the early hours of the morning thanks to the residents bar next door called Major Colgans. Overall it was a magical day and one we will never forget.…
We got married in the Muckross Park Hotel on the 24th of June. Orla, Niall and all of the team went above our expectations to make our dream a reality. They welcomed us to the hotel at the door despite the poor weather conditions helped us out of our car and took us to the bridal suite. The function room looked absolutely spectacular every detail was perfect the table settings, cake table and lighting. The food was amazing and staff went around with more food for our guests. The atmosphere was just electric we would highly recommend the Muckross Park as a wedding venue.
So we travel a lot probably 3 months a year - and I have to stay our trip at Muckross Park was truly a 10/10 experience. So why what makes it so different? Well the staff for a start from Laura at reception, to Paul at concierge, Ilie and Linda in the Yewtree, Bernadette and Svetlana at breakfast and the amazing Mary-Anna in the spa. Just to name a few! Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was a delight. The monks bar and the yewtree restaurant was a real treat. They have a new menu and wow it was superb, the flavours were just amazing - the combinations duck with rubarb was just divine. The service was impeccable and wine pairing was excellent! The spa was fabulous - I love the way they limit the numbers. It truly was a fabulous spa with all the different pools, hot tubs and saunas and as for the treatments - the therapist truly work their magic and do an amazing job. We borrowed some bikes and went for a cycle - great fun and enjoyed the local countryside. The beds were fabulously comfortable and the bedrooms and bathrooms clean, well furnished and all that you’d hope for. There are many hotels in Killarney so a lot of competition - but I can truly say - stay here as it was an exceptional experience!…
What a nice hotel! Not only is it located in a beautiful location, but the hotel is really nice and best of all is the staff! They were probably the most attentive and helpful that I have experienced from a hotel in a long while. Reception was helpful, the people serving breakfast were great, and so were the people who helped us with our picnic basket. We were even told that we were overcharged, which is unheard of!! Our room was lovely and came with champagne and chocolates, as we were celebrating an anniversary. Tub in the room and bed were fantastic. The one negative we experienced was there was a wedding on site and the hall was right below our room. The party went until past 1am and it was hard to sleep. We spoke to the hotel about it the next day and they made things right, so we were pleased with the outcome. I would definitely return and will tell everyone I know to use the hotel. Literally right across the street from a beautiful national park and you can use the hotel’s bikes. We also did the jaunting car, which I recommend.…
