Myself and my partner had booked 2 nights in this hotel. We have stayed here numerous times through the years never had any complaints , we opted to choose this hotel again for our stay. We checked in on the 1st Dec for 2 nights got up to room and the room was cold even with the radiator on. We headed into town and once we got back to the hotel room the room was freezing and we never said anything as I presumed the heating would be on soon so we headed to sleep. We headed off for the day on Saturday and when we got back that evening the room was still cold even with the heating on. I asked the girl at reception for a heater or something and she said that she would send up the porter. He came to the room and had a quick look and said the light wasn't working on the heater that he would go back down to the girl at reception and let me know what was going to happen and he didn't return. We went out to the town and then once we returned the room was again freezing. Upon check out the receptionist asked was everything ok and I told her and she said she would look into it but it just wasn't good enough. I am now at home smothered with a headcold. I have always been happy with my stay at this hotel but after sending and email and not even recieve a response ,I will not be recommending or returning to this hotel. …

We thoroughly enjoyed our short trip to The International last weekend where we got a lovely welcome from the reception staff (a special mention to the very friendly Judy). Our room was relatively small but had everything we wanted. We will definitely be back for a longer stay.

Our favourite hotel when visiting Killarney. Great location, staff very professional and friendly, rooms are very comfortable, reasonably priced. Especially nice at Christmas with fab decorations creating a lovely atmosphere. Nice relaxing areas also if want to chill out.

My partner and I got away for a friday night to celebrate our anniversary. We are both in college and we saved up for it. Not only was the venue lovely but the staff were amazing. We had a personalised note wishing us a happy birthday with our chocolates and they had upgraded us to an executive which hasn't gone unappreciated, we were in awe. Loved our stay, breakfast was sublime, pillows were a little stiffer than I preferred but apart from that I slept like a baby. We will definitely be coming back!

I had a great and warm stay. The Christmas decorations were already up, which made it very pleasant and felt like (coming) home in this time of the year. I was able to book an early breakfast because I had to work at the actual breakfast time - perfect start for the day. The room was clean and quiet and had everything I needed. The cinema was across the street and the center is just a few steps away with nice pubs, restaurants and small shops. Looking forward to visit The International Hotel in Killarney again!

My wife and myself came for a few days break. We found the Hotel very accommodating. The good was beautifully cooked and served by Staff who genuinely tried to be helpful and cheerful The room was very clean and kept clean. The Hotel was Old Style and felt warm and quiet which we really enjoyed We have travelled extensively around our Beautiful Country and Europe and would rate this in one of our Top five Hotels Could find nothing wrong at all apart from the Parking which didn't exist. True there was free parking several minutes away but both my wife and myself are disabled so several minutes is a long way. But overall a very pleasant experience and would definitely stay sgain

Loved staying here. Lovely staff members. Girls in reception were very helpful and answered all questions- can’t remember names but both had red hair. And girl in bar was very helpful as well, great knowledge of the drinks menu. Rooms clean and the jacuzzi was a lovely surprise. Definitely did not expect that. I didn’t get to enjoy food as I had to travel to college early each morning, but my brother said that breakfast was amazing. I would definitely recommend staying here. The beds are super comfy. Huge thank you to all staff members!
