Stayed here overnight. Front desk is great about calling you a taxi and accommodating any extra needs. Rooms were very clean and bar on the first floor. Breakfast available at an extra cost. Would stay here again
We booked a non smoking suite for a few days stay at the end of October.
Upon arrival the first thing we noticed was the overwhelming smell of tobacco smoke.

Hello Martin G,
Thank you for taking time to leave us a candid review about Holiday Inn Killarney Ireland. I recognize your stay was not 100% satisfactory because of the level of service received and the room given was not to your liking.

It is only about 10 minutes walk on the Muckross road. There is an outlet centre in the town which has a few shops (nike, paco, outdoor shop). The centre of Killarney has small shops and restaurants. If your just looking for coffee and cake then I would recommend the café- "underground". It is not really underground and just a step or two below street level. It has a ramp from the door down so no need to negotiate steps.
