Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We're so pleased that we found Chelmsford B&B. It is a beautiful place at a great price. Breakfast (lots of choices) is amazing. Louise is a pro! You can walk to town which is important since that's where all the pubs are.

We enjoyed all the things in this house especially the wonderful bedroom with view to the mountains and a very good breakfast quality served from Louise. The dinning room and lounge for the guests were comfortable too. It's only a short walk to Killarney town.

Spent 2 nights here. Fabulous hosts for whom nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are very clean and well equipped. Breakfast is plentiful and high quality. It's about 10 mins from the city centre - an easy walk. Would definitely recommend.

we spend 2 days in Clonakilty. The Chelmsford house is located silent and nearby the centre with a perfect view. Louise and Pat are very helpful and nice and we get a lot of tips for our stay in the County Kerry. Thanks a lot for everthing <3

We were very glad to find this little gem off the beaten track in Killarney. It's just out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to the action so that you don't miss out on anything. Luckily they had a late cancellation which offered us the opportunity to make a last minute booking with the owners. The room was in the back of the house so didn't offer the beautiful views that the front of the house enjoyed but it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. A little bit of advice, DON'T MISS THE PANCAKES!!! The owners were very helpful and knowledgeable about the sightseeing in the area when I asked for some assistance. They even assisted and booked another couple's excursion for the day after the tour they wanted to go on was sold out. Only thing I would have preferred is card payment facilities. We liked it so much we stayed an extra day!

A real B & B located in a delightful residential area a five minute walk to the center of Killarney. Mrs Griffin is very nice and helpful and will make you taste the best pancakes in Ireland. The rooms are not very spacious, and the bathroom is particularly small, but everything is clean and very well maintained

This place is amazing! The room was beautiful, cozy, and overlooking the mountains. The couple who own the B&B were very friendly and accommodating. We were visiting Ireland with a tour group so we had to be out early each morning. They were nice enough to leave us a packed breakfast on both days because we were too early for the breakfast. This helped a lot! They even called us a cab at 7:30am on our check out day. I cannot say enough great things about this stay!

The Chelmsford House was all of what you want in a B&B. Our room at the front of the house had great views of the Killarney National Park and the mountain range. Breakfast was great every day and you had about 9 choices to select from. Room was very clean but a little tight with my large suitcases. There was plenty of street parking and it was within a 10 minute walk to downtown. Louise was very helpful in setting up a tour at the last minute for the Ring of Kerry. Very friendly. This was an excellent selection and I would highly recommend staying here.
