What a wonderful spot! It is a great location to explore the town of Killarney and the Ring of Kerry. The concierge was extremely knowledgeable for our stay in Killarney and beyond. The staff was incredible and the room was gracious and comfortable. We had a lovely stay.

Hotel's Favourite
We visited The Killarney Park Hotel as locals wanting a little break away from home but not wanting to travel inter County with the virus. We were blown away by our stay at this hotel. On entering the hotel car park we were greeted by a lovely concierge who offered assistance with our luggage. We headed inside and met Aine at reception who was really nice to deal with and made us feel very welcome. She set the tone for our stay! Our room was spacious, well decorated and full of all the five star extras one would expect plus more. It was clear to see the accommodation team work hard at keeping their rooms to such high five star standards. We dined in the bar that evening and the food was absolutely stunning. We enjoyed chatting with Jason and were served by Leah for the evening. Leah really stood out to us while dining. Her friendly yet professional way was lovely to see. We watched her make time for every table to give them five star service with a laugh and a joke along the way making us and other guests feel extra special. Thanks Leah! We also visited the spa and loved the outdoor hottub. We were treated to breakfast in the bed the following morning that was literally fit for a king and again delivered by the most lovely staff member (we didn't catch her name). Thank you all so much for a lovely stay. We left feeling rested and pampered and we will most certainly be back in the near future.

Beautiful old building with a limited number of rooms right next door to the Killarney Park. Very quiet. Centrally located. Staff super helpful and friendly. Room was beautifully appointed and a great size. Parking fee and easy and free supplies in the mini fridge ( no alcohol).

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Killarney. We stayed here for a night and one regret that I have is that we should have stayed here for more days. The moment we got down from the car my husband got cramps in his leg from driving:) Immediately the young hotel staff came running and got ice pack for his leg. When we finally did enter the reception area we were given a very warm welcome. One of the front staff forgetting her name took us on the guided tour of the hotel facility and our room too. Our room was huge, beautiful with lovely balcony and gorgeous views. They included in our package a stocked mini bar and a wine bottle. We had the breakfast included in our package too and it was really great with lot of choices. We also noticed their wine cellar with the most amazing wine collection. Also tried the spa experience at this hotel and have to say it was really very relaxing and worth the money. Overall we had a great stay at this hotel and would love to stay again someday.

The people at the Killarney Park Hotel know they are in the hospitality business. From the cordial greeting on our arrival to the transfer of bags from our rooms to the car at departure, the entire stay was a delight. The staff are well trained and efficient, and make an effort to get to know guests and their preferences from the first encounter. We didn't eat in the formal restaurant for dinner (all our attire was casual), but the service and food in the Garden Bar was excellent. Breakfast was a feast every day. The pool, sauna, steam and hot tub offered opportunities for relaxation. The bar was comfortable and offered a wide variety of drinks for every taste. There were smaller rooms available for lounging or private discussion with food or drink - a library, game room, parlor, all with fireplaces. This is a place to visit!

My wife and I spent a night of our honeymoon at the Killarney Park and were blown away with the hospitality and service the entire staff provided. From check in to check out and everything in between, our experience was nothing short of perfection. Highly recommend staying in for dinner at The Peregrine - you will not be disappointed.

I stayed in two hotels while visiting Killarney, the Killarney Park and another that was further out of town. I had very high hopes for the Killarney Park and overall the stay was just ok. There were a few issues with the room which I made management aware of and while they weren't the end of the world it was very surprising for a hotel at this price point. It feels like a renovation may be in order and hopefully will come soon because the location is great and the staff is very helpful, especially the concierge. I would most likely not stay again.

Dear Melissa K, Thank you for taking the time to write about your recent stay with us. We feel it is very important to listen to our guests and we appreciate all feedback whether it is positive or negative. Overall I can see from your review that you got to enjoy and experience our offerings and service. We are very proud of the team and it is wonderful to read that all their hard work is appreciated. We have over the past few years implemented a renovation program which includes the bedrooms and public areas. This year while closed in January 2022 did a €60,000 renovation of our Peregrine Restaurant along with the refurbishment of many of our bedrooms. While it may not be to everyone's taste we have received very positive feedback. That is one of the great aspects of Killarney that with the number of hotels available to guests, there is always something to suit everyone's preference. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to welcome you back through our doors. Warmest Regards Ciarán Murphy Deputy General Manager

So . . . this is kind of a funny story. Apparently, we were tired after our long day of driving and when we parked in the lot, we didn't notice we left one of our windows down. Fast forward to the next morning and we go to the car to head out for day and see plastic covering the window. Now, the only time we've ever seen this is in the states is when a window is broken -- so we figure that some damage occurred overnight in the lot and head in to see what the hotel management might tell us. We were clearly upset that we'd now need to sort out issues with our rental, but the staff was kind and calm and concerned. Then another staffer comes over to explain that the window wasn't broken but as the forecast had called for rain (because well Ireland), that they wanted to keep the interior of our car dry and put the plastic up for us. Seriously -- OMG -- how nice is that!? I swear that would never happen in the states. We all had a good laugh and we went on about our day, but I just had to put this out there so people know how well you'll be taken care of if you stay at this hotel. I still can't believe the kindness.

Dear Trinity100 I just happened to also at the reception desk when you came in to enquire what happened. As nothing had been reported about a broken car window, just like yourselves it was a real puzzler. We are very proud how our team go the extra mile with their interest in our guests and their property. It was our pleasure and I do have to highlight our concierge team especially Tim Hickey who proactively taped up your car window. It is a wonderful holiday story and thankfully with a happy ending. Best Wishes, Ciarán Murphy Deputy General Manager

This was our first stop on our Ireland tour and from the moment we drove up in our rental car we were warmly welcomed and this made our first impression a very good one. Our rental car had a check engine light come on and it was in French. When we pulled up, we were greeted by the concierge, Padraig, and told him about the light. He didn't speak French either but told us not to worry about it and that he would handle it. This was a huge relief for us after a long flight which involved travel delays and lost luggage. Padraig totally took over and contacted the rental agency and arranged to have a new car dropped off within a couple of hours. That is amazing service!! Padraig and the entire concierge staff which included very helpful young men (I wish I could remember their names), were constantly there to go above and beyond in assisting us during our stay. The staff at the check in desk were also very friendly and super helpful to us during our stay. We have traveled all over the world and have found that the staff at this hotel was some of the friendliest and best we have ever encountered. The hotel itself was great! Our room was large and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. The a/c worked great. The shower and bath amenities were very good. The location was perfect. We were in easy walking distance to great shopping and restaurants. We really didn't want to leave! We ate dinner at the Garden Bar. It was very good. The staff was very friendly here as well. The breakfast was our favorite of all 5 places we stayed during our trip. There were many buffet offerings as well as delicious hot made to order options. I had the hake fish two mornings in a row. I would normally never eat fish for breakfast, but it was just so good!! We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!!! We will be back for sure!!
