This was the best B&B on our 8 day trip in Ireland. The rooms were clean, updated, comfortable and very roomy! However, I have to say the best part of our stay was the hostess, Mary. She made our stay there truly memorable. She had all the little things one might need in the event they had forgotten: toiletries, electric... More

We stayed here for 3 nights on our Honeymoon and it was perfect. Mary was amazing. We loved her breakfasts and she gave us great advice for our travel plans. The rooms were quiet, comfortable and clean. The place is about a 10 min walk outside of town which we loved because it was so quiet. I highly recommend this... More

This is by far the best choice I made during my holiday in Ireland. The B&B is located outside town, but at an easy 10-15 minutes walk. The bus station is 10 minutes away (same direction as city center). The room was bright, really big and spotless clean. The furnishing and décor were quite pleasing. The bed was really comfortable.... More

Mary is the owner of Carranross House, and her advice and care was priceless. The price is extremely good for the quality of this B&B and the food (I'm really missing her eggs and smoked salmon). Mary was sooo welcoming, and her advice on what to do was individualized to our tastes and was perfect...due to her years of experience... More

Stayed here for the Ring of Kerry Cycle this year and it turned out to be the perfect choice...it's situated only a ten minute walk from the town, the rooms are a great size, the breakfast is super and Mary couldn't have been more helpful. Highly recommended.

Just want to say a huge thank you to Mary who really made our stay great! We were doing the Ring of Kerry charity cycle and Mary let us bring our bikes in, made us scones and flapjacks for our early (5.45am) breakfast AND got up to cook us eggs! So helpful and accommodating! The beds were super comfy, rooms... More

We had a great stay in Carranross in Killarney. The location (easy walk to town), gracious and welcoming host and value for money all added up to the perfect stay. Mary suggested many different places for us to visit with her local knowledge and experience as a tour guide. We very much enjoyed her home baking, and slept soundly at... More

I had a wonderful time! Mary was a great hostess and many times gave me a ride to the town center and Killarney National Park since I was traveling alone and had to other transportation other than bus or walking. She even picked me up at the airport and took me back to the airport. The room was great with... More

Mary was a great host and nothing was too much trouble for her. She was more than happy to help us plan our activities and recommended places for us to eat. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts were very good and Mary's home baking was a bonus. If I have to mention anything, and... More

A short walk from the train station in Killarney, ideal because it is not in the middle of the noise of the city but close enough to enjoy it as well. Mary is welcoming and loves her metier. The bedroom is super clean, comfortable, warm and silent. Her breakfast is varied and tasty. Mary can book tours and helps you... More
