My 2 sisters, a friend and I stayed 3 nites in a very large room suitable for 4 adults. It was very clean with a large en-suite bathroom. The second generation innkeeper, Sean, was so nice and gave lots of information and directions about the area. Breakfasts were really good! I would highly recommend a stay here!
So Lovely. Brillant Breakfast. Top Rooms and good shower. Nice environment. Best service, friendly! Room for groups with TV. Parking directly in front of the hotel. We will visit again for our next trip in ireland. We recomment it. thanks a lot.
Sean was a great host/very welcoming. The house and room were amazingly clean. Overall great accommodations. The area and the views were spectacular as this home/farm is situated amidst the mountains. Lovely place outside Killarney - just a short drive into town. Thanks for a great time.
Words cannot express the incredible stay we had at Salmon leap. The host, Sean, manages an incredible farm that will make you feel like you’re at home. The place was charming and our room was very comfortable with a scenic view of the valley and mountains. I stayed there with my mom and brother, and it happened to be my brother’s birthday. We asked Sean if we could have a complimentary cake, but not only did he get us cake, but he also gave my brother a birthday card with a lovely message. We stayed there for two nights, and throughout our stay, Sean gave us a lot of insight into Ireland’s history and culture. Breakfast was great and the dining room was enchanting. Regardless to say, if you are looking for a place to stay in Killarney, or even in the whole of Kerry, Salmon Leap is the best place you can choose.…
Visited this lovely b&b on a walking trip to the Pap mountains. Very pleasant and friendly welcome from Sean. Easy access to Killarney. Very comfortable with a lovely breakfast. Will return if in the area.
Great time . Very well located , nice and clean rooms. Owner Sean made a great job Every morning big and very tasty breakfast. This B&Bis a perfect place to be while You are in Kilarney. I would recommend to friend or family
We had a nice two night stay at the Salmon Leap while touring through Ireland. Sean greeted us when we arrived after a long drive and got us set-up in our rooms (2 and 5). The rooms were a good size and worked perfectly for our situation. The breakfast was great and ready when we requested it. The continental options were great and hot meals were well prepared. We also enjoyed the sitting area one evening. The views out our window were great and we got a spectacular showing from a waterfall off in the distance with the rain from the night before. One thing to note - I almost went to the wrong place, since Google returned a different Salmon Leap location in Kilarney - it's actually south east of Kilarney in Glenflesk at these coordinates 51.983860, -9.327859 (TripAdvisor shows correctly).…
We arrived at 9pm at the B&B, it was raining, late, and chilly. We were greeted by the owner Sean, who was very pleasant and friendly. We asked for some coffee and hot tea to warm up and settle in, he provided and served us on a nice tray with cookies. There was a set menu for breakfast which we can choose from and a time to be seated for breakfast. it was very nice and quaint. The room was clean and comfy bed. Wish we had more time to explore. Very friendly and very bed and breakfast atmosphere which one would expect in Ireland. Only wish there was Wifi throughout and not just in the sitting room. But we were there for only 1 night, so it was not an issue.
During our honeymoon, my wife and I agree that our favorite stop was in Killarney and that wouldn’t have been complete without staying at Salmon Leap. It was a beautiful bed and breakfast and right outside the town as well as right down the way from the Ross Castle and the Torc Waterfall. We had a delicious Irish breakfast on our way out, definitely recommend it!
Unfortunately we only had 1 night here. So glad that they had a vacancy. Wonderful picturesque location. Very large comfortable room. Beds very comfortable and we both had the best nights sleep. Really good water pressure in the shower with lots of shelf space in the bathroom and eco friendly bathroom products. No coffee in the room but you can ask for some and drink it in the spacious comfortable TV room. Good breakfast in the 300 year old dining room. Host Sean is very friendly and accommodating. Free Wi-Fi in the TV room and some rooms connect easily (including ours which was great)
