We spent three days here while in Galway. The place was very nice and the host Bernadette could not have been nicer. We had and early tour one day and an early flight the last day and Bernadette woke early and made sure we had some coffee, tea and food before departing! Easy walk to Salt Hill and City Center...

First off, I am rating this simply based on my experience with the owner. I did not actually stay here, so take it as you may. I battled with the rating, but read on and I will explain... I stayed in Ireland for 7 nights and booked 6 different B&B's all through B&B Ireland. This was my first stop and...

Our host Bernadette welcomed us warmly, and her home seemed very clean and well kept. The room was nice and the bathroom small but fairly modern and linens/beds were clean and comfortable. We were a party of three women traveling together and the main reason for selecting this location was that the B&B booking site stated that 3 separate twin...

the place is old fashioned.. its within walking distance of Galway which is nice.. Breakfast was very good and the host was very accommodating.. the showers were nice.. the rooms could use a little upgrading and its seems as if there is a smoker in the home..

Lovely service with a big breakfast. The host Bernadette cared for our well-being like a Mother. Very nice! !!! It was a warm atmosphere and we enjoyed the stay. To go to the towncentre you need to go 15 minutes. Thank you for the nice time! !

My boyfriend and I were in Galway for one night. We booked at the beginning three nights and two weeks before our stay we had to change it and stay only one. I emailed the BB and got a reply saying that there was no problem at all. When we arrived from the Aran Islands, tired, the owner said that...

The Kiltevna was a nice B & B - nothing fancy, but spotlessly clean and extremely convenient to Galway Bay and Town Center. We spent 2 nights at this B & B, which is in a residential area with quite a few other B & B's, and town houses. We were able to park right in front of the lodging,...

Upon attempt to check in, we were told that another family of 3 had just booked our room that uncanningly were supposed to check-in at the same time we arrived. [What?!!] However, since we were there first, we'd be given the room. Uhm... Slight heart attack for a minute until I realized that the B&B company had probably called to...

We stayed at Bernadette's lovely home for one Sunday night. She was welcoming, the room was large and spacious, as well as spotless. Breakfast was excellent with a large variety to choose from and served in her beautiful dining room. Bernadette saved our aching feet some extra steps when we headed back to downtown in the evening with a short...

The location is fairly convenient for walking to the center of town (provided it doesn't rain!) and there was a GREAT pub nearby that epitomized the essence of the Irish Pub experience, but as for that 'Ireland of the Welcomes' don't especially think you get it here. We arrived late and I do believe the owners were NOT amused. We...
