We recently stayed in this B&B not for the first time and were again really happy with our stay at Tara House. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean with all you require for your stay with a large comfortable bed, good shower, nice TV, tea & coffee etc. The breakfast you receive each morning is perfectly cooked and delicious. The thing that makes your stay at Tara House is of course Anna who is kind, friendly, approachable, helpful, cheerful and the list goes on. I do not think anyone could welcome you better. What I noticed is it was not just me who felt this way as I overheard guests complementing Anna throughout my stay. Not our first time to stay at Tara House and won't be our last. The location is also perfect for Salthill or Galway only a couple of minutes walk to both, also a bus stop located outside if you don't fancy the walk.

It was meant to be that we connected with Anna on our 3 nights stay in Galway. She was extremely pleasant from the first minute we met and made us feel like family the entire time we were there. - Coffee was hot and endless as well as the awesome breakfast each morning served with a smile! Day trips to the Kylemore Abbey and Cliffs of Moher are well within reason if driving yourself or connect with bus tours close by. Nice walks along the water or into the city center area and yes, this is O'Connor's Pub, just down the street to enjoy a fresh pint. We look forward to coming back in the future and highly recommend this B&B for your travels to Galway.

Anna is a lovely hostess- loves a chat lol. Makes a brilliant breakfast, despite scalding her hands after bleeding radiators for guests. Rooms are clean and well equipped, we were coming and going at all hours, and she always found time to come and check everything was OK for us. We'll be back next year if we can.

Myself and my husband recently stayed in this excellent B&B. The room was very spacious and clean. The location is perfect only 5 minute walk to Galway bay and 15 minute walk to the city. Anna and Katrina are lovely ladies and give you a very warm welcome.
