To begin with, this is a lovely place and the location is an added bonus. It's clean, warm, very spacious in terms of B&Bs and the owner/staff were extremely friendly. It's a two minute walk to the centre of Salthill and about 20 minutes from the Shop Street in the city. Plus, there's a local bus stop right at the... More

We stayed overnight at Tara House and were greeted by a lovely couple. Great full Irish breakfast the next morning before we departed to visit cliffs of Moher. Recommended to whoever seek a quality homely stay in Galway close to Salthill side of the town.

My family and I stayed here for my brother's wedding. We loved it. The rooms are large and spacious. The breakfast was delicious and the lady of the house was very nice also. There is a bus stop directly infront of the house to take you into the city. I would happily stay here anytime I'm in Galway.
